Dr. Michelle Anne Overturf, MD

Dr. Overturf performed my cataract surgeries/lens implants. I had a slight increased risk for my cataract surgeries as I'd had detached retina surgeries on both eyes a years earlier. She thoroughly explained my options and fully answered any questions. My outcome(s) were exactly as predicted. I had worn eyeglasses literally full-time for 66 years; the last 30+ bifocals. I now only need low-power "readers" for any detail work. The entire experience, including with all of the staff, was excellent.

Dr. Overturf fully explained every step of the process, thoroughly answering my questions. She very effectively combines her obvious expertise, professionalism, and quiet confidence with a comforting approachability and patient focus. I truly could not imagine a better experience.

Dr. Overturf did not seem to know how to treat my Glaucoma. She told me to see a specialist. I thought she was supposed to be the specialist. She could not tell me who could help me. Leaving me with weeks of no care.

In all of my gazillion visits to more doctors than I can count on my 10 fingers, nothing compares to Dr. Overturf. I've never met anyone who is more capable, understanding, skilled, and just simply too nice to overlook. Dr. Overturf not only made me comfortable going "under her knife" when she took care of my cataracts, she actually made me feel confident of the results: Outstanding! She is remarkably humble yet very good at her chosen profession. More power to you, Dr. Overturf!

I was attended to in a timely and professional manner. It was my 1st visit and was very pleasantly surprised. I will continue to use Dr Overturf for all my vision needs.

Dr. Overturf has been professional, knowledgeable and created a relaxed atmosphere for me. on a scale of 1-10 I would rate her a 10. Her performance appraisal would be excellent. During my career I've done quite a few performance appraisals.

I explored several different cataract surgery options and chose Dr. Overturf. And I am very happy - extremely attentive, informative and care, Dr. Overturf and staff made my surgery a breeze. I felt like a pampered patient throughout the entire process

The office is well maintained and appointed and appt started within reason of scheduled time. However, I was given a second test, of which was not needed and NOT informed at the time that I would be charged for this second test. Upon checkout I was told that unfortunately insurance did not reimburse for it an I would be responsible. After this short test, about 15 mins., I was held in a waiting area for almost a ful hour before having my 10 min consult with the Doctor herself who confirmed that my values were not significantly different from my first exam 2 months earlier. A prescription was written, and I was gently reminded that an optical sale was going on outside their office. You may draw your own conclusions as to the ethics of this. I have not researched whether the clinic or Doctor was receiving any sort of consideration or compensation for a recommendation. In summary, the doctor was professional, thorough, and polite, but I have issue in which the second appointment was… booked to gather a second co-pay plus an additional fee that could have been relayed to me before the appointment. I'm very disappointed in this clinics practices and want others to know.
