Dr. Michelle Jo Semins, MD

After dealing with kidney stones for over 35 years with different doctors, I feel Dr. Semin is looking thoroughly and in depth into what is causing them and changing the treatment. She was open to questions in her office and great for the surgical procedures I needed. Her office staff is also reliable, they call you back and get answers in a timely fashion. I would HIGHLY recommend this physician!

Went to Dr. Semins for kidney stone with bloody UTI. She refused to even discuss the kidney stone, said she does not treat kidney stones, referred me to nephrologist for that. Wouldn't discuss or explain the possible causes/treatments of the hematuria, said only that cystoscopy must be performed as the next step. Very rigid, methodical approach to treating urological issues; not willing to customize the treatment plan. Left her office receiving no information about my condition because she refused to explain/discuss anything and simply wanted to perform an invasive procedure before she would talk about it. Plus, she lied and refused to address the kidney stone; something that a urologist most certainly treats!

Michelle Semins put a stent into me that had many problems. She never met with me at all the time the stent was in me. She was out of town when the kidney stent was pulled. I witnessed no significant stones coming out of me while the stent was in place. Saturday after they pulled the stent 18 stones came out of me. When I was having pain with the stent I went to her office, her staff took my name and my birth date after i asked a question. They left the office early 3:40 locked the office and left me in the waiting room. Michelle Semins is far too busy with her procedures to give any patient proper care. If you want to be treated like cattle,see her.
