Dr. Daniel Peter Palermo, MD

Dr. Palermo was highly recommended by other physicians to us. We visited with him in his office in Wheeling, West Virginia, after my wife had been diagnosed with breast cancer. The initial visit lasted one hour and fifteen minutes with Dr. Palermo. After surgery, he spent forty minutes with our family and another hour and fifteen minutes when my wife and daughter went back for a follow-up visit, only to find out that Tina needed a double masectomy (due to the lab report from the pathologist approximately four days after her lumpectomy). Neither Tina or myself have ever spent time with a doctor with such compassion and "great bedside manner." I would recommend him highly to anyone needing surgery......especially life changing surgery! Thank you Dr. Palermo. Our friend and former minister of about 55 years was with us when Dr. Palermo met us after Tina's surgery. He told Dr. Palermo that he, too, had spent a great deal of time in a hospital with family/friends for such matters and had… never met a physician who spent so much time explaining and answering questions from loved ones. I thought that was the ultimate compliment!
