Dr. Mikhail Borisovich Shik, MD

Completely uncaring and rude.

Minimal if any bedside manner. Not well read on latest therapies. Dismissive, and feels paternalistic, which would be fine if he had a vast knowledge of your medical issue. In 2022, doctors and patients need to be partners in health. Would not recommend, and certainly not if you have a comorbidity.

After my husband had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Shik, I was anxious to switch my healthcare needs to him as well. Dr. Shik is an excellent physician. He listens and asks many questions. His diagnoses are well thought through and always correct. We are grateful to be under Dr. Shik's care. He is not only a very good doctor, but a wonderful and caring human being. He listens carefully and answers all questions. We feel very lucky to have Dr. Shik as our physician.

The best doctor in the world, caring and listening to the patients, please stay safe and healthy during this time! God bless you and your family!

I'll never return to this doctor, who is uninterested in continuing his medical education. I felt like I was seeing a 1950's doctor, with the nonsense he spouted. He made mysoginistic, judgmental comments. He shouldn't work with people, especially the chronically ill.

I do not think Dr. Shik understands the standards for health care in the US. He was rude, struggled to communicate and is clearly an unhappy person.

He was not very personable, interrupted me while I was giving my medical history, and took three social text messages from someone (maybe his wife) during my visit. I felt like I had about 40% of his attention. Considering I was vomiting up my lunch eat day at work, I hoped for more than him examining my stomach and telling me it was just anxiety. At least he did order the right blood tests. I was just hoping for some compassion. You won't get that at 5:00 pm.

I think dr Shik is great: thorough, pleasant and caring.
