Dr. Minou Woel Colis, MD

I took my son for his annual checkup and we left 2 HOURS AND 35 MINUTES later. We sat in the waiting room for an entire hour before being seen by anyone at all. At that point, someone brought him back into a room, asked him what grade he was going into and where he goes to school (seemingly just to stall) only to wait once again. Then a woman came in to test his eyes, was very rude and short with him, and then guess what? WAIT AGAIN. The front office staff could not explain the waiting periods or give any indication of how long the waits would be. When Dr. Colis FINALLY came in, she told my son he had "big beautiful eyes" 9 times, told us a story about how she served shrimp to her relative one time, and gave him the exact same prescription that he already had. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

Doesn’t take time to listen to patient concerns. will intercept any family opinion/insight aggressively .

My daughter loves going to see Dr. Colis! My daughter is 15 - this is amazing.

I had a great experience with Dr. Colis when I went to her for an eye exam. The wait was not too long (for those whining about waiting 15-20 minutes, remember that for most American doctors it's about 40!). Dr. Colis was extremely professional and charming, and I will absolutely be going back to her for my next checkup. Really a great doctor!

I did not have a good visit with Dr. Colis, I found her to be cold with terrible bedside manners. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Colis radiates good will and takes excellent care of her patients. My daughter had a significant eye problem as a child and Dr. Colis fixed it. She provides the highest level of care- -and everybody who meets her loves her.

Not sure why this Dr. (cough, cough) isn't POOR on every rating especially the office staff, just horrible.

My visit to this office did not start off on the right foot. Rude staff, not attractive offices, and poor overall service. There are plenty of wonderful eye doctors, this isn't one of them.

The one thing I rated above as Moderate was ease of setting up an appointment. This should have probably been a red flag. My biggest complaint goes out to the staff at this office. They were rude, incompetent, and unpleasant to be around. Follow up calls were met with the inability to answer my questions and unwillingness to give Childs records to a different doctor once I wised up and switched.
