Dr. Mohammad Reza Shaker, MD

Dr. Shaker performed surgery on me, specifically a septoplasty and turbinate removal. He is attentive, respectful, and understanding. I highly recommend seeing him, he improved my quality of life a lot.

Staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable! They like to mess with each other so it gives a very homey feeling too. My surgery went without a hitch and I’m breathing like never before, couldn’t have been a better experience!

After years of not breathing well with stuffy nose, sinus pain, and post nasal drip Dr. Shaker performed inferior turbinate resection and my life is now so much better! He took time with me, was caring and he and his whole staff very professional. Appointments were on time, I would recommend Dr. Shaker highly to anyone who has need for his services.

I was referred to Dr Shaker after years of sinus infections, sinus pressure headaches, and constant congestion. I had already tried all the over the counter and prescribed meds with little relief. Dr Shaker treated me with respect and explained all the images he took during my nasal endoscopy. He determined I had a deviated septum that would be best treated with a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Dr Shaker explained the procedures along with all the possible risks and side effects. His office staff and OR staff were helpful and personable. Dr Shaker was easy to reach for questions and concerns. During my follow up he seemed genuinely excited that my symptoms had resolved. I can breath so much easier and the sinus pressure that I lived with for years is gone.

I had a broken nose - fractured in 3 places. He was very rude and seemed irritated with me from the start. Tried to convince me to not have the closed surgery and instead partially numb my face and push it back into place after a week of it being broken. He was irritated that I jumped when he was manhandling my nose. Refused to look at my scans multiple times and claimed it would be a "huge waste of [his] time" A month after the closed surgery and my nose is still crooked.

If there was an option to give Dr. Mohammad R Shaker zero stars I would. It took him an hour to even see me and dismissed me in 5 mins, while my appointment was an hour and 20 mins past. He doesn’t listen to you about your issues and writes it off as not his problem. I do not recommend anyone going to him ever.

Does not meet his obligations. We spent a week this summer landscaping his property so that he could sell the house, only for him to refuse payment and communication. Very disappointing to see this lack of integrity by a medical professional.

Dr. Shaker took the time to explain the pictures he took and what the surgery would be like. He didn't make me feel rushed with my questions. I would definitely recommend him and his staff.

We found the doctor very receptive and explained everything clearly. After suffering with throat and ear pain for about 9 mos, a CAT scan ordered by my husbands' GP saw cancer in his tonsil and a throat lymph gland, he referred him to Dr Shaker and Dr Shaker ordered a PET scan and that confirmed the diagnosis. My husband will be begin radiation/chemo in the coming weeks. We both thought this doctor was very very good, as far as "bedside" manner and never rushed us, explaining treatment plan.
