Out of all the physicians we have seen at the UC, Dr. Castro by far has the best bedside manner. She listens attentively and is not dismissive like others, actually is concerned for our wellbeing and not just another patient in the rack waiting to be kicked to the curb. In addition, she has been the only doctor to incorporate shared medical decision making with the treatment we were hoping for. The other physicians need to reeducate themselves to her standards of practice.
