This doctor saw my mother in the hospital. He had obviously reviewed her records from out of state and was spot on with his assessment. Very personable too.

I don't go back, it's all about the money with him and this office. To many expensive test. And still zero diagnose. I would not recommend him

Dr. Khan was very personable, kind and projected an air of caring compassion. When he introduced himself, I immediately felt comfortable in his presence. I am ecstatic that I have found a pain management specialist that I feel confident holds my best interests and health in high priority. I most definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for a pain management specialist.

A very caring doctor and staff that seems like family. Highly recommend this doctor and couldn't ask for better nurses or staff. :)

--I have bad testicular pain for about one year, and was prescribed a pain med for it. As stated on the prescription bottle, "Take 1 tablet by mouth twice daily". I was prescribed 50 tablets. Taking the medicine properly, I have two left to take for tomorrow (which is 25 days of 2 tablets per day). I asked my pharmacy for a refill and they faxed a request to the doctor. Later, I went to the pharmacy to get my pain med prescription, and I was told that the Doctor said "it's too soon". I then called his nurse (nice lady) and she said he would not refill it until 6 days after I run out. No major biggie, but if you have ever had chronic testicular pain, you know what a relief medicine that dulls the pain really is.--A rundown on my medical history. I went to the urologist (in Texarkana, and have seen him about 3 times, I think) and was prescribed the same pain med, but to be taken 4-6 hours as needed per day. For me, 3 a day worked with the pain I had (which is less than the… maximum "as needed" amount of 4 to 6 tablets per day). I was scared to take any more since this tablet can be addicting, and too much acetiminophen can damage the liver. Besides, 3 per day worked, no need for more. The urologist decided to refer me to a pain management doctor and that's that.--I realize that narcotics are addictive, but when I go to a pain management doctor, I shouldn't have to wait 6 days after I finish the final tablets in the bottle (which were all taken properly as prescribed) to get another prescription. It was embarrassing when I went to pick up my pain med prescription, and they said "the doctor said it's too soon". I thought "great, now they are going to think I am a pill-popping addicted junkie!"--Except for my local Doctor which I have not seen in over one year, doctor Khan is my ONLY other current doctor (besides my Urologist that I have not seen in a month or so), so it's not like I am running around to all sorts of different doctors to feed a pain pill habit, or to sell them on the street. --Maybe dr. Khan is just worried about these kinds of drugs being addictive (I am/was on Norco 7.5/325), and not wanting to get anyone "hooked", and I respect that, but when I take only two per day for legitimate painful pain, it makes me wonder why the 6 day wait in pain for another refill?
