Dr. Mukund M Morjaria, MD

I thank him for helping me get my life back in order. I am an addict and he was stern with me putting his foot down and he should I needed that. I moved away, but am going to contact to see if i can come back and become his patient again. He truly helps.

Dr Morjaria and his wife are both good people and devote alot of time to long term care for their clients and assist with what process has to be followed to stay on the right course. I see someone wrote that Dr Morjaria does not care about his ients because he didn't taper her down? Take ownership of you being a drug attic lady . There isn't anything a doctor or super hero can do for you if abuse drugs. I've never heard Dr Morjaria raise his voice let alone cuss anyone out. I have witnessed plenty of people not being able to pay when they arrive to his office and they know That person will be I'll with out the medication , so they accommodate and work with the people to get it resolved. Not many doctors would do that or take calls at home or on vacation He absolutely was able to retire years ago . He's here for his patients and im sure his wife and himself we're happy they didn't have to chase you for your past due bills or because you abused this medicition also and we're trying… to scam him and get another prescription. Dr Morjaria is the most dedicated doctor I've personally ever had. Don't allow that previous review To sway you from using Dr Morjaria. He may be to loyal It's a shame people abuse his Loyalty

Dr morjaria perscribed Subutex to myself and my husband for more than ten years..we we're never tapered down not once in those ten years ..Dr morjaria would spend less than 10 minutes with each patient and cared very little about the well being of his patients ...he would become very agitated if my husband or I called him for any reason between appointments..I had to call him to get help when my insurance company wouldn't pay for my perscription and Dr morjaria cursed me out for calling & refused to ever help with prior authorizations .. I had insurance that covered my meadications but I always ended up paying cash for my perscription because Dr morjaria refused to do any of the paperwork required by my insurance company .... his wife was his office manager and constantly had us owing a balance and even double charged us when he was going on vacations...at the time we had very few choices as far as addiction doctors in the Virginia area and had to continue seeing Dr morjaria to stay… clean...worst ten years of my life ..he doesn't care about his patients he only cares about money ...thank God I don't see him anymore ... I was finally able to find a doctor who really cares and has changed my life...

Dr. Morjaria is an incredible doctor in his field of addiction. It's tough working with that population (flaky, untruthful and incredibly smart) but he does really well with them. He listens to concerns, weighs the pros & cons and makes the best decision for each person. Some people don't follow their prescribed plan and relapse... hence any bad reviews of this doctor. He discharges with MAYBE a 30 day supply of Suboxone (never Subutex) and you have to follow up with an MD that can prescribe that in 30 days or you don't get anymore medication! Makes sense to me... he's making sure you show up for further assessments! GREAT GUY, AWESOME DOCTOR

I have known Dr.Morjaria for over 30 years.... He was a staff physician and medical director at one of the nursing homes where I used to work. He had many many patients and he was on call 24 hours a day/7 days a week. He visited the nursing home every day. He valued the input by the staff and had a good rapport with the nurses. Sometimes he was moody but overall he took decent care of his patients. I heard he is now only doing pain management and I don't have any experience with Dr. Morjaria in this field. I feel is was a competent Dr. in the field of geriatrics.
