Dr. Mutaz Al Tabbaa, MD

I have read all of the rude comments above and I completely disagree. I am an RN who was forced to retire early due to disability. History of almost 40 years in the ICU/CCU/ER as an RN, I find him to be very competent. I’m guessing these disgruntled patients are probably drug seeking, because primaries are now very limited with regards to how much pain medicine they can prescribe. These folks now have to find a neurologist or a pain specialist to handle their pain issues. So many ( not all ). of them have bogus complaints. I used to see it in the ER every day. Everyone was polite and kind to me and very patient with my slow gait. The doctor spent an entire hour assessing me and gathering a thorough history. Never once did I feel like he was not paying attention to me, or ignoring me, or anxious to see the next patient. He actually listened to me and did not rush me out of the room. Of course I was not looking for narcotics, just answers. I spent the majority of my career in hospitals… and so always had insurance. 4-5 years ago, I chose to take a position as director of nursing in a very small home health care which did not provide insurance. So it’s been five years of progressive debility. Anyhow, very impressed with Dr. Tabbaa. He is extremely thorough and competent in my opinion. I was impressed.

Very rude Dr. Rude staff, old school Dr, didn't even know of meds I was on and ignored other diagnosis from other Drs. Wouldn't listen. Unprofessional to say the least. Boy, was it a mistake to pick him.

Wow just wow! Bad, egotistical and sarcastic! Made fun of symptoms and made made feel stupid and not valued or validated. Wouldn't let me talk, wouldn't listen to what other Drs told me or told me to do. Basically rudr, and unprofessional staff...

Mr. Tabbaa is old school, not up to date on his medical information and his "God complex" leaves no room for growth. If your condition is in anyway "difficult or challenging", I would suggest not wasting your time. His nurse is nice but the people in his office will not lift a finger to assist with anything.

I have been a patient there for 10 years. I recently had a fall fractured four vertebraes in my spine so I'm disabled out of work. I got a bill for $60.00 I told Debbie this. She was rude said I'll have to pay it it's outstanding won't be able to get anymore prescriptions!!! Really? Unbelievable! I like Dr. Tabbaa too bad.

He is all about the money, not the Patient. Office staff is very rude and they refuse to transfer records to another Dr. They don't get valuable records from a hospital visit, they tell you they did, but nope. You have to bring Hippa rules into play before they even consider the records transfer. They need more Hippa training, and he needs to go back to school.

I never got to see the Doctor in my first ever visit to his office, the young gal he had taking the tickets told me I owed him $197.00 from a visit 20 years ago plus a $40..00 copay for this visit. before he would see me. I had never seen Dr.Tabbaa in my life and here was a young lady (his clerk) who was in grade school 20 years ago adamantly telling me I was there in his office and owed him @ $197.00.. For the first time in almost 80 years I cancelled a Doctors Appt. and walked out of his office.I never seen that Doctor in my life and with his competent staff I hope I never do.

I have been seeing Dr.Tabbaa for about 10 yrs.And I couldn't ask for a better Dr.

I have been seeing Dr. Tabbaa for several years now. The wait time is usually not long and the staff are always friendly. If you need a refill on a prescription or have a problem a nurse will talk to you and get back to you at the end of the day. He not only gives you advice on neurology issues but other health issues you are having as well. Thanks Dr. Tabbaa.
