I was incredibly fortunate to have met Dr Nicole Moayari at a time when I was on a four year torturous trigeminal neuralgia saga. The terrifying pain in my cheek occurred without warning and rendered me incapacitated. I could not find anyone to point me in the right direction for medical help. By God’s grace I found myself in the office of Dr Nicole Moayari who is a Stanford educated neurosurgeon who has blessed Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Neurology department with her years of experience, knowledge and skill. Dr Nicole Moayari listens, and explains the surgery she performs, in my case “craniotomy with navigation” clearly. My surgery was more complicated than expected and Dr Nicole Moayari took the extra time (double what was anticipated) to make sure that my case was entirely solved notwithstanding the complications she encountered. She gave me back the possibility of living a normal life. We are so lucky to have such a treasure right here in Santa Barbara! I will be forever… grateful to Dr Nicole Moayari.

I have been working in the medical field for roughly 17 years now. I developed a tumor, (meningioma) in a central, base space of my brain. This was a very physically painful and emotionally life changing experience for me as well as my family. She was realistic and explained to me all of my options as well as the procedures, possible outcomes, and recovery time line from surgery or other procedures. I really appreciated her giving me a full picture of things based on my options and what type of procedure to deal with… the meningioma I decided. I did decide to have the surgery to have the meningioma removed which was an extremely scary thought. I am extremely happy and pleased that Dr. N. Nicole Moayeri and her staff performed my surgery to remove the meningioma. From beginning to end of all my care from Dr. N. Nicole Moayeri was nothing less than excellent. The surgery was successful. Dr. N. Nicole Moayeri is very kind, knowledgeable, professional and caring in every way.
