If you are looking for a surgeon who specializes in cervical spine and neck compression surgery, look no further. I did extensive research and met with multiple physician assistants and several surgeons before making my decision. This is not a choice you want to second-guess. With many practices, you first meet with a PA—who may be very nice and very reassuring—but when you finally meet the surgeon and feel uncertain, it’s already too late. That was not the case here. From the very first visit, you meet directly with Dr. Dahdaleh. No PA. No handoff. And within minutes of speaking with him, I knew I was in the right place and in the best hands possible. His confidence is immediate, but what truly sets him apart is his warmth, compassion, and humility. It’s rare to find someone so accomplished who is also so genuinely human. I strongly encourage anyone considering neck surgery to read his reviews. You will not find a single person who says they are worse off after surgery with Dr.… Dahdaleh—something that cannot be said for many other surgeons, whose reviews often tell a very different story. I previously had a botched back fusion, so I was determined to find the absolute best surgeon for my neck. Dr. Dahdaleh performed an anterior fusion from C3 through C7—going through the front—when others wanted to approach it from the back. The results were remarkable. I was up and walking within four hours of surgery. I woke up in very little pain, went home the next day pain-free, and within just over a week my throat, voice, and nearly everything else were back to normal. I could go on and on about how exceptional Dr. Dahdaleh is, but the bottom line is this: if you need neck surgery and want the best chance at a successful outcome, you want Dr. Dahdaleh.

What can I say. Dr “D.” knows his stuff. He assured me thru patient and compassionate conversation that he would alleviate all my symptoms. I was experiencing sciatic nerve pain down both legs from hip to foot, sciatic pain in my lower back, sciatic pain in my gluteal area and incontinence issues. I am glad to say that after surgery, I no longer have the pain and incontinence issues. Dr “D” displayed professionalism, expertise and compassion throughout the entire process.
