Dr. Nadia Fawzy Hanna, MD

Dr.Hanna has been my primary care physician for about 1yr. I am very satisfied with her care! She has been proactive with helping me coordinate the necessary aspects of my preventive healthcare in a professional and caring manner. I recently had a procedure performed by Dr. Hanna that I was very anxious about before my office visit... Dr. Hanna helped me feel at ease and performed the test thoroughly and quickly which was a such a relief to me! I would recommend Dr.Hanna to others looking for a good primary care physician ??.

Very rude and unprofessional. Very argumentative for absolutely no reason. Name calling and provoking comments. No care or compassion for her clients. I will be reporting Dr Nadia Hannah to the better business Bureau !

My wife and I needed a new Primary Care Physician who had hospital affiliations, and – figuring a female doctor may be more “nurturing” - chose Dr. Nadia Hanna. I had a pressing need for a Lab Order requested 7 weeks earlier by my Endocrinologist for an ACTH blood test that needed to be done at a hospital. I needed a hospital-affiliated doctor to submit the Lab Order. As soon as my Medicare Advantage provider approved our change in PCPs, I requested an appointment. I was given a Telehealth apptmt. for a week later. Great! At the day and time of the TeleHealth apptmt. there was no call from Dr. Hanna’s office. So… I called them. I was told that the appointment had been canceled, but they never bothered to inform me. They re-scheduled me for six weeks away. They canceled because my insurance coverage did not go into effect until the first of the next month. I informed them that my insurance provider allows/approves one appointment prior to the “official” effective date, but they did… not want to hear this and told me not to have the ins. provider call him. To get a prompt appointment for the Lab Order I had to pre-self-pay - $170.00. I have since learned that this is the standard charge, BUT since I am on Medicare I should have been charged the Medicare-approved rate of $46.13 for a 10-minute office visit. I have requested her office for a REFUND of $123.87, but my request has been ignored. It also appears that Dr. Hanna schedules appointments at 10-minute intervals. As I signed the register sheet for my 10:10 a.m. appointment, I notice the signee ahead of me had a 10:20 appointment. My wife and I accompany each other to all of our doctors’ appointments. In her initial visit, she expressed an “issue” with Dr. Hanna who simply passed right over it and offered nothing. In my appointment, I reported an incident a few days earlier when my right deltoid muscle flared up and was so painful that I had to sleep two nights in my recliner to prevent movement of my arm. She passed right by that as well, saying it must have been a strain and offered nothing. Also, as she reviewed my medications she informed me that she could not approve refills for an anti-inflammatory med that I had been taking for 8 years. This med had quelled my little aches and pains quite adequately, and without it, I suffer. She explained that it was a “blood thinner”. I explained that my Cardiologist has me on blood thinners and I am monitored regularly. She then explained that she had had a patient who was on this med die of a cerebral hemorrhage and that I should have my heart doctor renew my prescription. (Cardiologists do not prescribe such medications that do not pertain to the heart) In my efforts to get the office visit fee reimbursed by my ins. provider, I visited Dr. Hanna’s office and requested an ITEMIZED STATEMENT of the charges on the initial visit. I gave them WRITTEN SPECIFICATIONS of the information that was required by my ins. provider. They handed me a double-sided printout. When I got home I looked for the 4 “specifics” requested: there were – PCP name & address; PCP Tax ID number; PCP NPI; and Service/Diagnosis Codes. The 2-page “statement” only included the office name and address and NONE of the other items SPECIFICALLY requested. It did not even report the office fee charged. I had to make another trip to get this information. -- We have found a new PCP,

Worst Dr ever. I use that term loosely. She has limited knowledge about conditions, refused to give me a referral to a specialist and forced me to pay for an appt when I just needed their office to send over my records. I was not yet established with the specialist and she was a no show for the appt, putting my health at risk since I was out of thyroid meds. We are now testing for cancer so clearly I needed a specialist. All she and her office husband Joseph care about is billing. One billed appt to order bloodwork. Another billed appt to give you results. When you are having symptoms bad enough for the ER, she tells you to do meditation and “you’ll be fine”. She comes off as caring and is anything but. Run from this so-called Dr.

I was a patient of Dr. Hanna. Her office refused to refill my blood pressure medicine unless I see her every 3 months and pay her. There is really no point in seeing her every 3 months since there are no changes. But they refused to refill my medicine. They want me to pay them for an office visit every 3 months. They only care about money.

Dr. Hanna should have her license revoked. Will report her to FL attorney general for being a croney. She will be accountable for her gross misrepresentation and negligent inaction.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hanna's for two years I find her to be warm, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Hanna makes me feel important and that she does care. She has restored my faith in the medical profession by always answering my questions, returning phone calls and caring about my concerns. I am never rushed out of the exam room and I never have seen her look at her watch and give the impression she is thinking of the next patient. In that exam room I know it is ME who is the main concern. I believe Dr. Hanna has healing hands and feel blessed that it is she who cares about my health.

Dr. Hanna has been blessed with healing hands and I have been blessed to have this physician on my side!

NEGATIVE. Dr. Hanna does not have the necessary skills to diagnose health conditions of her patients!! I was fortunate that I was able to change the doctor and timely start treatment..

Absolutely helpless doctor!! Rude, inexperienced and money oriented person only. Should change her profession for either accountant or police officer.
