Dr. Nalin Mathur, MD

I didn't rate 5 Stars because no one is 5 star in my book. My experience with Dr. Mathur in the last 7 years has been exceptional. He has been attentive when I mention that a prescription is not working for me and he has changed. He listens and has noticed things wrong with is eyes...my Thyrod for example. He calls when necessary to discuss labs results, etc. His staff is very friendly and will pass on messages and Dr. Mathur has responded to the messages I left by his staff. At this time I have NO complaints. He's usually on time for all of my appointments and I also like that it doesn't take months to get an appointment.

This doctor literally saved my life. I decided to visit Dr. Mathur after being consistently dissatisfied with Kaiser where I had been a member for six years. Dr. Mathur thoroughly examined me and referred me for additional testing. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer. I shudder to think where I would be if not for Dr. Mathur. No more “big box” treatment centers for me. Give me a one-on-one quality doctor.

My mother is a patient there, he does not visit hospital, when we asked the receptionist about speaking with the doctor she said she doubt if he would call back, we stated she is now bed ridden and we need a referral for a physical theraphy, my sister then went to the office still couldn't any help, so if you have a elderly parent don't take them there.

I started seeing Doc. Mathur around 2018 and he was very nice, I thought he was an ok Doc.. However, after that I started seeing things in different light. On one of my visits he did some kind of circulation test which was not necessary.. He made me come in every month to get a prescription. A Primary Care Doctor is supposed to be the hub to your health. I now owe him hundreds of dollars. Don't waste your time and your MONEY because that's all he wants.

Will call and tell you that you need to be seen to go over labs you go in and he will say why are you here tell him you wanted to discuss my labs and all it is is low vitamin D have had the leg exam 4 times in 1 year never heard anything about it. My husband gas had a cough for over a year now asked several times for xray of his lungs just avoids it . When you tell him a certain medicine does or is not working he does not listen. I have gone in to him with earaches and cough and congestion he will stand 10 ft away to look at my throat. I will be looking for a new primary doctor. I just hope whoever reads these reviews from any of the medical field will investigate Dr Mathur I feel he is all about the money not the concern of his patients.

This man is always trying his new toys on people. He hands out b12 shots like there candy. Then try’s to charger u for stuff u didn’t ask for. That insurance won’t cover. Then when u don’t pay he sends u to collations. What a joke. I’m gonna turn him in to the better business bureau. Gonna turn him in to the md medical board as well.

I found Dr. Mathur's staff to be wonderful!!! However, when it comes to Dr. Mathur, that is a different story. If you have the 1st appointment of the day, he will be 45 minutes late and not even apologize for it (repeated behavior) Then he orders test that are NOT necessary just to charge your insurance company. Then wants you to come back in a week after test to discuss results. He charges $350 per visit for that as well. He then will insist to see you once a month. Another way to get your co-pay and your insurance's money. He holds his patients hostage to come see him every 90 days in order to get your prescriptions filled. When asked about it, he admitted it saying "If I fill prescriptions for 90 days with refills, then patients won't come in every 3 months. There are far BETTER physicians in the Waldorf area to settle for him.

Be very careful about the test and treat ments he prescribes. Make sure what he prescribes is covered under your insurance. He wants to charge you for every little thing he can and make you come in for office visits that, aren't needed.

HE IS A VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND SO IS HIS STAFF!!!!!
