Dr. Napoleon Bonaparte Higgins JR., MD

Went to this doctor for 10+ years I was beginning to feel that I was being pushed through like cattle. 5 minute sessions doesnt accomplish much. The doctor was more interested in trying to sell his wellness program. What finally drove me out was his racist staff , so if your white you might want to think twice before using him.

Went to Doctor Higgins for a very long time. But recently before I left I was having the feeling that he was there to listen but more of getting you in and out as fast as he can. He was more interested in pushing his health program on me than dealing with everyday life challenges. At the very end of my tenure , the office staff from the secretary to the insurance person succeeded on finally accomplishing there goal. I left feeling racism was a decision for my leaving. This office is all black with no practice of equal opportunity employment for the entire time I was going there. Do your research on the internet before going to this doctor.

Absolutely the worst office for patient care ever. Would not recommend any person in his practice. Liable to be bounced from Dr. to Dr. within the practice. No consideration for you time...always late for your appt. time. Generally rude and inattentive unless you happen to buy into his weight loss fade. Randomly changes which insurance he accepts and does not notify clients until day of appt.

If I could give a ZERO rating, I would. First off, his office, and particularly his waiting room is so dirty with carpet stains, worn chairs, and needs painting. His staff is rude and he charges for every call, prescription written, that he can. I cancelled an appointment a day in advance and received a bill for it. They would not give me the benefit of the doubt so I had to finally show phone records to prove that I did call and cancel. Higgins, himself, is condescending and a total jerk

Very different psychiatrist than most.

I find Dr Higgins to be very cold and aloof. Although I had turned over all of the paperwork on my daughter from testing and other doctors he never took the time to read over them. His office scheduled me for a Saturday appt and then they never showed or called. I will be finding a new psych for my daughter!

No personality and didn't listen to me At all.
