Dr. Van Zeeland performed a successful CMC joint surgery on my hand. He was very communicative and kind. There was excellent follow up post surgery as well. I had a very positive experience with him and I won’t hesitate to return if I need to have another surgery.

Dr. Van Zeeland runs an incredible practice. Staff were very efficient, helpful, and friendly. Communication was abundant and professional. The Dr. himself was affable, knowledgeable, sensitive, and caring. He fit me in just before leaving for a family vacation. I would highly recommend both Dr. Van Zeeland and the entire practice at Hand and Shoulder.

Attributes of a good Dr: exceptional medical knowledge with empathy, strong communication skills, and emotional resilience to provide patient-centered care. Essential traits include being a skilled problem-solver and a good listener. I feel Dr Van Zeeland checked all of these boxes . As a first time patient I am very satisfied with my experience. Shout out to his staff as well. Everyone from the front desk to his PA Megan, the X-ray technician, and the intake nurse and nurse who set up and assisted with the ultrasound and injection were professional and friendly.

Dr. Van Zeeland is very thorough confident and kind doctor. The whole staff is wonderful. I drove 3 1/2 hours for my appointment. I was early by almost an hour, and they got me in. And that was much appreciated.
