Dr. Nicholas Edward Koehler, MD

He does not like to treat patient in pain. He is addiction specialist, so his bias left my relative 77 yr old man with many painful conditions without adequate treatment. I do not recommend this guy, especially if you are in pain. !! Will not go back , we went one time,, after that found compassionate doctor elsewhere

Waited 3 and a half hours past my scheduled appointment time for him to say there was nothing he could offer me. If you have a complicated injury or illness, don’t waste your time. He’ll refuse to treat you.

Dr Koehler is one of the best Drs I have ever had in my life! Caring, compassionate with empathy for his patients. These are rare qualities in any DR.

This Dr is wonderful. He takes the time to really listen to what you’re saying. He then comes up with a plan to get the pain under control, then he explains it all to you. Five stars for sure!!

Literally need to stand by and wait until he decides to get to you. Procedure scheduled for 11am - they call night before saying its been moved to 8:00 (be there by 6:15am) Comes in says we are first procedure...Nurse comes at 8 says he’s going to do another person first. ?? 8:30 now he needs to run an errand ?? 9am any minute now. 9:15 now maybe 10:00am ??

I visited Dr. Koehler for the first time today. He explained everything that will be happening with my condition and spent the time to show me on models. He asked to be kept in the loop if things were not progressing as I thought they should. Wonderful bedside manner and very professional.

I WAITED THREE HOURS IN PAIN HE HAD NO INTREST IN HELPING ME TGH MESSED UP MY ARM I HAD SURGERY ON MY FOOT MY BACK BAD DO TO A WRECK I HAVE A FRACTURE IN RIGHT ARM HARDWARE FALURE SCREWS FELL OUT AND I LEFT THERE IN PAIN STILL IN ALOT OF PAIN I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS AND I DONT KNOW Y HE DID NOT CARE ABOUT ME PERSONALLY OR MY MRIS SORRY BUT NOT A GOOD DOCTOR IN MY MESSED UP WORLD IAM IN ALOT OOF PAIN HE DOES NOT CARE

I spent almost 8 months with Dr. Koehler trying to get relief from persistent trigeminal nerve pain. Dr. Koehler is very kind and compasionate and did his best to relieve my pain but was not able to due to complexity. Wait time to see him was always at least and hour or two past appointment time. His partner had recently quit and he was doing double duty. I was sorry to stop seeing him but my time is as valuable as his and since treaments weren't working I felt it in my best interest to locate another doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care for his patients and I would recommend his services to others.
