Dr. Nicholas Alexander Pefkaros, MD

Dr. Pefkaros is great. He has done some surgeries on me with great outcomes. He gets 5 stars. His Viera office, however, only gets a 1. Huge beautiful office and I was only patient there. The tech took me right back on time to start my exam. Then, dr. Walter’s let me sit for 20 minutes waiting for no good reason. Not another pt in the office - and I could hear her shooting the breeze with 2 techs outside my door. My day off and I had other appts so I had to leave- with eyes dilated. And now will have to do it all over again in 2 weeks. Would certainly understand if the office was packed but this was unnecessary. Must be a lot of overhead for that office to have their doctor standing around chatting up the techs.

Choose another office. We have been patients of Dr Pefkaros for 9 years. He has taken care of the entire family. He is the only MD in his practice currently. We were told that he had a surgical backlog 18 months ago and he was not seeing patients, so I told them we would wait. They booked us appointments. Fast forward 18 months, and I get a vm telling me they need to reschedule. I contacted the office and the teenager told me that he is no longer seeing normal patients. When I asked how long this was to continue, she said indefinitely. So we waited with optical issues for 18 months for nothing. The gal was curt and dismissive. He may be great, but if you can’t see him, what’s the point?

So far I have had cataract surgery on one eye and I am so blown away with the care I have received. Dr. Pefkaros was more than professional...HE CARES about his patients! He has done an awesome job so far and I have no hesitations about getting surgery on my other eye. The staff at his office are awesome as well.

"Dr. Nick" is one fine doctor. He's knowledgeable and has a great and caring personality. Tops!

Me and My Husband have recieved nothing but outstanding care from Dr Pefkaros and his staff. I recommend everyone who is looking for quality eye care to see him.

Dr. Pefkaros provided me with excellent care . As a new patient, I felt my eye examination was very thorough. The work provided by his staff was very professional and put me at ease prior to my time with the Dr. The time spent at the appointment allowed me to ask important questions and receive answers that were easy to understand. On 5 visits, my wait time has been less than 3 minutes.

Dr. P is the most knowledgeable, professional, caring Ophthalmologist I have ever been treated by in my many years. Unquestionably, I would recommend this Physician and rate him Number One !!

I took my 11 yr old daughter to get fitted for contacts and Dr. Pefkaros really took the time to ease her anxiety about wearing them as well as how to take care of them. The staff worked patiently with her as she learned to take them in and out of her eyes. Now, she takes them in and out like a pro.

Wait time was very short, his staff were very friendly. Dr. Pefkaros solved my dry eyes!

I am a very tough critic and I was plesently surprised when I had my appointment with Dr. P.efkaros More doctors need to take lessons from him..... Staff,location, wait times minimal. Everything you want in an experience!
