Dr. Nicole Francoise Theuvenet, MD

When I call I get a voicemail, saying they will call within 24-48 business hours. But they don’t. They rarely return phone calls. Even though a medicine was prescribed by the doctor to help with health issues the pharmaceutical company, that offers co-pay assistance) cannot get a return call or message, nor are they able to reach someone. Almost six weeks now, in pain, and no help. I liked the fact the doctor actually spent time with you, going over options etc but the necessary follow up by the support staff is non existent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Theuvenet for 15 years now. I couldn't imagine going to anybody else. She always follows up with me. She takes her time with me. Very knowledgable and kind. I read a lot of bad reviews about her staff, but I have never once had an issue with them. They have always been great to me.

At first I thought I really liked her as a doctor. However, after a few visits I felt she was very lax. She would ask me "what do you think? What would you like to do?" I'm not the doctor. You tell me. It was very difficult to get a hold of anyone and when I left messages no one called me back. I needed my records from her. It took 3 months! I am looking for a new Neurologist at present.

Dr. Theuvenet has been my doctor for 5 years, she has staff that do not follow through. I think the ACA change has required her to change her way of treating her patients. Sadly, we lost a great Dr. Try to find one who still cares. Her office staff is so rude, they feel they are above the law. I read on the internet she receives $100,000.00's of dollars working for drug companies. So she has her loyality to them not to us.

staff is horrible and doctor is never available

I loved, loved, loved Dr. Theuvenet, but her office staff.. there just aren't words. I dealt with it and sucked it up because the doctor was so phenomenal, until today when the straw finally broke the camel's back. Some of the staff is devoid of any personality or understanding (seems they are just there for the paycheck), while the others are downright demeaning, rude and absolutely careless with anyone who calls or comes in for any reason. Dr. T was very, very behind and I couldn't wait an extra hour just to be seen for an appointment I'd had for 2+ months. I witnessed the man screaming at the top of his lungs and swearing at a patient over the phone. The girl at the front desk trying to get me rescheduled, I couldn't even hear her in order to answer her questions; and the man just kept getting louder and louder. There is no excuse for anyone in the medical field to treat any patient in this manner; I don't care who you think you are or how must better you feel you must be at… this whole "being a human" thing. I'm very sorry Dr. T, but I'm done sweeping your office staff's behavior and lack of care under the rug. I am on the hunt for a new neurologist.

Excellent Dr, I would be hurting without her. She knows how to care for patients and has the best bedside manner. She knows how to treat and care for patients.

Amazing , caring , excellent Doctor. Truly cares about her patients!! That's rare in the medical field today. She does not hesitate if it's something out of her expertise to send you to someone else. I think she is incredible.

This doctor is NOT accepting new patients! Even though this website and others says she is. I called office and I was told by a young girl that I needed a referral for a consultation! I have a PPO! I apparently understand how insurance works more than her! Also - she said they do not accept BCBS PPO - one of the best insurance plans out there wholich doctor accepts because they have excellent benefits & pay their claims! UGH - not a good experience - find another doctor with a better staff who actually accepts new patients, credible insurance, and has a staff who knows what they're doing. Physicians need to understand their staff is a reflection of them!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. T for the last 4 years. I always felt like everything was being taken care of in a professional manner until about 9 months ago when they brought Emmy on as the new ma. I fell she is very judgemental and dude. If I did not love Dr. T I would for sure ne finding a new doctor. I explained to Emmy about 5 times that I needed a dexa scan done at semi. She informed me that they don't do them anymore and referred me to Desert rad. After some investigation I found out that SDMI does do dexa's she just didn't want to get the authorization and desert rad does them for her. I also have been waiting on my new MS med for 2 weeks now. When the one to one program contacted my specialty pharm they were informed that they had no rx. Not a surprise since Emmy faxed in the info. I wish Dr T would see this and fire her very lazy MA.
