Dr. Nitin K Sethi

I spent 45 minutes with Dr. Nitin Sethi where he thoroughly reviewed and explained my sub-dural hematoma. His testing of my balance was revealing and he strongly suggested I engage with Physical Therapy concentrating on balance. He also suggested Yoga and/or Tai Chi as a good addition to my activity. I would strongly without reservation recommend Dr. Sethi. He spent time answering all my questions clearly.

Outstanding medical care in a tough situation. Dr. Sethi is an intelligent, caring, kind, physician who provides top quality medical care. I could not have gotten through this without his insight. Lucky to have him on my team.

Dr Sethi is a fantastic doctor - one of the most knowledgeable neurologists I have dealt with (and I have dealt with plenty) - and also kind, compassionate and easy to talk to - qualities not all that common in my experience. Cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Sethi is an excellent doctor. He is thorough and caring. He makes himself completely available to the patient. He gave me his contact information right away during my first visit with him. He arranged for me to have an exam on the same day of my visit and called me a few hours later to give me the results, so that I would not worry. This was in the evening, after the hours of his workday. Very thoughtful.

I found Dr Sethi to be incredibly professional and competent. During my first visit for my son after his craniotomy, he was very approachable, took time to thoroughly understand my son's medical history and background, asked questions as appropriate, and explained his planned approach very methodically. He took steps to obtain data for baseline readings, and outlined a systematic course of action. I was very impressed and have no hesitation in recommending him. In addition to being an outstanding professional, he was empathetic, warm and supportive. I am happy we selected Dr Sethi as my son's neurologist.

When my son was diagnosed by a neurophysiologist at Westchester Medical Center with epilepsy back in 2015 (18yrs old), he spend the next 3 years on a medicine that was doing very little for my son’s condition to be controlled. Our visits to the doctor’s office wasn’t too pleasant. She was very general, cold to the point and her medical advice was pretty much one way or no way. Her visits were more like “scolding” visits. The doctor even explain to us exactly the type of epilepsy our son experience and besides prescribing any medicine, he explain to us why our son couldn’t be no longer in the kind of medicine he was previously on for the past 3 years. He started my son on a low dose anti epileptic medicine and always made us feel welcome on this journey we are facing with our son’s condition. Dr. Sethi is very humble, kind, soft spoken, intelligent, caring, compassionate and pretty much always on call. Our son feels very safe and he feels like he can trust and rely on Dr. Sethi. Our family have love and much respect for him. He is the best doctor in his field.
