Dr. Omar Evelio Figueroa, MD

His examination consisted of me walking around his office and him watching me. He wanted to send me to someone he thought would further be able to find my problem but my insurance carrier did not cover that individual. And he did not like the company that they would pay for. So he made no appointment with me at all, even though I asked his assistant to make an appointment with the company my carrier covered. He just upped the dosage of a drug that for many months had done me no good and said come back in 3 months. Near the end of those 3 months I was told he had retired and so was my GP. My GP had a different neurologist call for an appointment. I am hoping the new neurologist will be more thorough.

I truly love Dr. Figueroa . He has taken such good care of my mom. I go with her to see him . He has excellent bed side manner . He has let me know exactly where my mom is in her life . I appreciate this . It is hard to watch this happen. Dr . Figueroa told me that if I need him . to call him . My mom is getting to the end. He let me know this . I would tell anyone .if you want a honest , caring doctor . I know the best . If I need a a neurologist , I would go here . Thank you Dr. Figueroa

Did not even look at me until 15 minutes into my first appointment. Walked into room and focused strictly on typing his notes in the computer.

Dr can use some .manners
