Dr. Orlando Villanueva Rendon, MD

I would not recommend this Doctor. I switched to this doctor when my children were very young, I would say we have been going there now for about 5 or 6 years. When I first started taking my children there the staff was nice and courteous. Now they are rude, they put you on hold as soon as they pick up the phone and then after waiting on hold for 30 min they hang up on you. Then when you finally get through to make an appointment they act like it's their first day on the job. The other reviews are right about never seeing the doctor. I will say that there are some NP's that are wonderful, but many of the MA's are unnecessarily rough with the children. I have left due to the rudeness of the billing department. By the way if you are a patient there you should probably have them check for any credits, seeing as how I had three credits some that were years old that no one decided to tell me about until they were asked. There are too many pediatrics in Jacksonville and surrounding areas to… settle.

I have been seeing Dr. Rendon since my 16 year old was 4, and I have followed him where ever he goes. He is not in the Starke office full time , but the NP is wonderful. and I know he wouldn't use her if she wasn't great, My grand daughter had a continuing medical problem and the concern and worry he showed , convinced me he was the best. The staff has been nothing but wonderful and friendly and caring. I have never had to wait long, but as you know sometimes doctors have emergencies .

dr rendon is a wonderful doctor, WHEN YOU CAN SEE HIM! we started taking my son there since he was born, about 5 years ago now, and the staff was wonderful, since then he has moved to another location near his previous one and I CANNOT get an appt to save my life and had to switch drs because of it. Staff seemed ditzy now and could only see the nurse for the last few visits.. sad to say because we really liked the dr himself, the staff and wait times are just too long.

He is an outstanding Doctor. Always has time for me and my son. Will spend as much time talking with you during the visit as you need.
