Dr. Pallavi Rajput, MD

My son was a patient of Pallavi Rajput, and he has a severe mental illness. She works at Mercy San Juan in Carmichael. I would give her 0 stars because she made my son's condition worse and told me to come and pick him up and take him to another facility. She could not handle his case and has no right being a psychiatrist. He was having a psychotic episode, and she told me that my son's episode was attention-seeking behavior and that she did not believe he had a mental illness. I gave her his medications and said I could send her documentation proving his illness, and she had his pharmacy information, where he was on several medications which are primarily used for Schizophrenia. She ignored these facts and had the staff being mean to my son because they thought he was being mean to them when he was having agitation from his episode. I feel like she is worse than her patients and needs to have a mental health screening herself. I pray for anyone under her care.

Dr. Rajput has so far gone above and beyond the normal psychiatrist's basic duty. She has been kind and understanding about all the excessive emails answering every one of them with class.
