Dr. Pamela Parke Carbiener, MD

I'm confused why Dr. Carbiener has anything less than 5 stars. Dr. Carbiener is one of those rare doctors who actually cares and goes above and beyond. The Daytona area is lucky to have such caring doctor

Dr. Carbiener is absolutely phenomenal. I’m a high risk mother with a very complicated medical history and this is my first pregnancy. Dr. Carbiener has been there for me for every step. I’ve been hospitalized 3 times so far and all I can say is she has been on top of everything! She is always there for me when I need her. She is truly one of the kindest and most knowledgeable physicians I have ever met. She’s absolutely remarkable. Her bedside manner is something that all physicians should strive for. She did quite a bit of research for me and always has answers for my complicated questions. I’d recommend her to any and all expectant mothers in the area. She’s one of a kind and I’m so grateful that I’ve had her through this difficult pregnancy.

Dr. Carbiener is extremely compassionate and professional. I required surgery and she went through all the options and possible issues with my husband and I.

Dr Carbiener may be a good OB and standard office visit care. However she performed a routine outpatient procedure on my close family member and her negligence has caused detrimental and life altering damage. She is obviously not technically trained to do anything past basic care. Please go to a surgeon and/or specialist for anything past routine care. Do not be pressured to let these doctors (not skilled surgeons ) do any procedures to you or your family. The negligence demonstrated on our case was and continues to be a terrible injustice that never should have happened. Shame on you Dr Carbiener for neglecting the Hypocratic Oath and the standard fundamentals of knowing the position of the anatomy and not operating blindly without good visibility.

Dr. Carbiener ended up being my doctor because Dr. Baldwin was unable to see patients for a time. My first visit was absolute heck I felt as if the nurse instantly hated my husband and I based on our looks (which I determined IN MY PERSONAL OPINION had to be my nationality or skin color) She was so disgusting but thought "hey maybe the doctor will be better" Dr. Carbiener barely treated us like people she spoke down to us and was very curt and dry. There was no care or happiness behind her eyes or actions....I thought perhaps she was having a bad day after all we are all entitled to them right? My subsequent visits were considerably worse... she has absolutely no bedside manner and the office staff mocked us in front of our faces because my husband and I wanted our parents present for one of our ultrasounds to bask in the special moment with us. We were appalled with their behavior. The last straw was how we were treated upon asking simple billing questions. The office staff really… has no management or customer service skills (or common sense for that matter) and brought me to tears on several occasions. When I spoke to Dr. Carbiener about their treatment she apologized and said she would rectify the situation. When the situation was not rectified I called her about it and she actually had the audacity to hang up on me! Needless to say I would never ever recommend or see her ever again. That being said, I think she is a very intelligent woman I just don't think she cares about her patients anymore....which sadly happens. I felt like another number in a line or sea of people and when I had a problem I was just another thorn in her side that needed to be plucked out and discarded. I know she is a leader in her field (in our area) and frankly I am surprised- she is certainly not the only leader but that she is floors me after her behavior and the behavior of her staff. I certainly hope she either changes her ways (not likely) or gets out of working with patients because it is so obviously not her proverbial "cup of tea".

Very experienced doctor. Knows what she's doing. Very kind and considerate of her patients.

I have just had to transfer my care during this pregnancy to another OB/GYN after I could no longer stand being seen by Dr. Carbiener. She has reduced me to tears on a number of occasions. She was great in the beginning of my pregnancy, but once things became complicated (I'm very high risk) she was awful. She made rude comments about my insurance status (medicaid) every time she saw me. She actually overlooked my preeclampsia that my new doc diagnosed right away! I feel she has too many patients and not enough PATIENCE! I would not reccomend her to ANYONE!

Dr Carbiener always has the time to answer questions. She is always straight forward and explains things in an easy to understand. I have had surgery with her and she shows to be caring and considerate. She also always squeezes me in on a moments notice, as I am a special needs patient. I highly reccomend her to anyone with a high risk pregnancy.

I felt as though I was just another "pregnant file" in their cabinet. I saw several doctors within this practice and all treated me as though I was just another pregnant body to assess. Dr. Carbiener spent little/no time with me and answered my questions with as little explanation as possible.
