Dr. Pamela E Dorne, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Dorne since she came into this practice. Kept coming to her even after I moved 30 miles away! I absolutely love her honesty (I don't want sugar coated!) and openness. She knows my family history and believes in treating each individual patient. That is how she suspected my fallopian/ovarian cancer. She answers all my questions, and yes, sometimes my appointment may be delayed or even rescheduled, but she is an OB/GYN! Babies & emergencies decide the schedule, not her or her staff! Thank you, Dr. Dorne for all you do for your patients!

If you don’t mind waiting 30-1 hr after your scheduled appointment time EVERY YEAR, then Pamela Dorne is the perfect doctor for you. While she might be skilled at obstetrics she and her staff are not skilled at making appointments and managing a calendar. I consider the amount of time spent waiting disrespectful to say the least.

I had Dr. Dorne perform my surgery when I was rushed into the hospital and saw her for my post op appointments and check ups. I loved her. I want her to deliver my babies once I am pregnant. I did read some of these reviews and was surprised that anyone had bad experiences. I loved that she was very straight forward with me and gave me no unnecessary info , she tells you exactly what you need to know do and why. I do not like doctors that do a lot of small talk and everyone is wasting time getting nowhere. She made me feel like she really knows what she is doing and is here to help you.

Dr. Dorne and staff make you feel like family. I drive over an hour to see her because she's amazing. She delivered me and both my brothers years ago . I didn't want anyone else to deliver my son. She will continue to deliver the rest of my children. There's no better Dr you'd want on your side.

She has no bed side manner, acts as if your problems / concerns are taking up too much of her time, and NEVER, NEVER smiles. I mean, you're pregnant and it's such a happy time. Who wants to go to a doctor who is Miss Negative Nancy all the time?

I only had one unpleasant visit with Dr. Dorne. I scheduled an early afternoon, weekday appointment and had to wait nearly an hour to see the doctor. When I got to the exam room her staff informed me they did not have any gowns and gave me a paper sheet to cover my lap. I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed but Dr. Dorne seemed unconcerned and unapologetic. Her time spent with me was extremely brief. I will not be returning to Dr. Dornes office.

The receptionist is the nicest lady in the world and the nurses were about average. Dr. Dorne appears to be a very skilled doctor, but does not have good bedside manner. She will take time to answer your questions, but her tone is sarcastic and condescending. (This seemed to be worse when I had the last appointment of the day.) She's very "matter of fact" and cold. I trusted her as a doctor, but chose to change doctors for my second pregnancy because of her rudeness.

I had one visit with Dr. Dorne and it was awful. She performed each part of the exam without warning or explanation. After that she admonished me for having a condition I didn't even know I had. She didn't explain it to me, just told me she couldn't fill my bc script because of it. Left me feeling uncared for by this really rude doctor. The nurse was very nice, but I guess that doesn't count too much when the doctor is so bad. I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor.

GREAT DOCTOR AND STAFF, FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS PLEASANT. REMEMBER YOU ON A 1ST NAME BASE. YOU ALWAYS FEEL WELCOME AT DOCTOR DORNE'S.. SHE DELIVERED MY SECOND BORN 16 YEARS . SHE COMES VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
