Dr. Pamela Mcallister Feeley, MD

Have mixed feelings about Dr. Feeley's treatment philosophy. Am able to bring up novel approaches to dealing with complex psych issues, feel like she is basically kind and open minded, but at times uh, I feel uncomfortable. Maybe because she seems so calm which makes me more anxious and ugh, feeling awkward. Also some measures take a very long time to be considered --- seems very pharm oriented, esp w/ antipsychotics and mood stabilizers, which have systemic effects (well, all meds do). Hard to get a hold of, text only, so emails and faxes uh, no. She is more open minded than some, and certainly does do that 'mood and sleep and irritability' scores, but i never hear about what she sees as a trend... so all these scores go ... where? Need to be very self reliant and motivated, but at least she seems open to active patient partnership. Like life, my experience with her is grey scale.

She is a totally unethical drug dealer, who will, as another reviewer stated, change/falsify medical info. The doses of Xanax she prescribed were potentially lethal. As she once told me, “my patients don’t run out of benzos.” The withdrawal I suffered when trying to taper my medications was so horrific and made me so paranoid that it nearly ruined my marriage. Now that I’m recovered and caring for my own patients, I cannot imagine prescribing those doses of benzodiazepines if I had a gun put to my head. It is scary how she still has a medical license!

Dr Pam Feeley is an outstanding dr as well as a caring person who empathizes and connects with her patients. She's not only helped my son with mental health for many years, she guided our family to the most professional intensive outpatient caregivers in the metro area. I value Pam's judgement, wisdom, expertise as a clinical advisor and a professional psychiatrist. Frankly, our family and especially my son are grateful for everything Pam has done for us over several years and we'd be "lost" without her. I highly and sincerely recommend Dr. Feeley.

Dr. Feeley took a $400 bribe to falsify records in a domestic matter, then would not return calls to correct record.

Dr. Feeley engages more like a drug dealer than an actual doctor. I always had to wait at least 45 minutes for our brief 15 minute appointment. Dr Feeley can only be reached by text through her cell phone. She never follows up about how medication changes and has even mailed scripts to my house on several occasions.

Takes her time and really listens

Pros - Professional, takes time at each visit, answers questions Cons - After a year of treatment and taking 7 different prescriptions a day, I was no better.

Dr.Feeley has been wonderful to work with. She sticks with you until you start feeling better. Very responsive if you have something you need to talk to her about. Very flexible with appointments. Logical and insightful. Very knowledgeable about medication management

Please NEVER encourage anyone to see Dr. Feeley. She is unethical and is more concerned about money than people - and her reputation amongst her peers is poor.

Horror tale - more concerned about profits than patients - I beg you to choose another doctor - research her on case search - she is not ethical
