Dr. Paul Henry Castello, MD

I have seen Dr. Castello 3 times. Each visit lasted under 5 minutes, and each time I left feeling frustrated. He has NEVER examined my knees or asked about my knee function. On my last visit, he walked out and down the hall while I was trying to ask him a question! For each of those visits, his office billed my insurance more than $300. The most recent office visit report says he performed about 20 tests that he DIDN’T DO! He never got within 3 feet of me. It also contained information that he had taken from the reports of my previous doctors. If you are considering knee surgery, especially replacements, you deserve a doctor that does thorough exams, explains procedures, answers your questions, and keeps truthful medical records. He won’t be doing my surgeries!

Lobby is huge but on the forms they ask you not to bring children in because there's no room. They have a huge lobby!!!So my husband's appointment was at 330 and didn't get called back for over and hour. We get taken back and did more waiting and another xray. Dr. Castello comes in and doesnt introduce himself or doesn't acknowledge who he is and who we are. I think that's hugely important. Very smart man but he exited the room without saying do you have anymore questions? Dr. Castello just exited very weirdly. So we stayed I'm the room thinking ok do we wait. The checkout should run alittle more smoothly. That's it hope this helps.

Excellent Doctor had right shoulder surgery six years ago and the left one completed three weeks ago with Dr. Castello. Easy to talk with, joked with me in recovery that I received the blue light special.

Great doctor, fixed the issues other doctor missed/did wrong. Listens well, and I would highly recommend him...

Dr. Castello is encouraging, informative and his treatment is very effective. ..I feel very lucky to have had his experience and expertise in the treatment of a broken arm.
