This doctor saved my life. With advanced pca, every doctor I went to told me that ADT was the only treatment. Six years later, after ADT, RP and IMRT, I am off all treatments and my psa is still very low.

Still alive in 2019 in spite of his malpractice mistake of not warning me of the dangers of starting off on the highest dose ketoconazale for prostate cancer, and the mistake of NOT warning me to stop my herbal shakes. It was a long time ago, but people should hear what happened to me because of Dr Corn. ALT started climbing. Stopped drug. Got Jaundice anyway. Suffered skin lesions for several weeks while recovering. Thought I was going to die. Restarted very low dose ketoconazole months later after finding a GOOD doctor on the East Coast. He prescribed Urosodiol to protect my liver. He confirmed that ketoconazole will cause liver damage in 2 weeks with herbal shakes or other herbal vitamins. That new doctor combined the ketoconazole with 3 other drugs. I tolerated them perfectly, and worked into a higher dose of ketoconazole later. Had my longest remission ever in my entire history of Prostate Cancer. Thought about a lawsuit against against MD Anderson but I was too busy… fighting cancer. I am still alive today not thanks to MD Anderson.

When I was initially diagnosed with bladder cancer of the right kidney, my prospects for survival were very dim, and now after three rounds of chemo therapy, it appears I am on the road to recovery. I will be forever thankful to Dr. Corn for his help.

My brother is undergoing treatment and after two trips to MD Anderson's ER in the past two weeks, the second ER doc contacted Dr Corn to see if his next chemo treatment could be moved forward. At Dr Corn's request, my brother emailed and called him the following Monday to see about moving it forward - with no response. The following day I called his scheduling person and the nurse and still got no response. NONE of our communications received a response. Since my brother lives two hours away, a trip to MDA requires coordination among multiple family members and friends and nobody knows what day, or how much time to take off work. It is unacceptable that a health professional and/or staff member does not even have the courtesy to return calls or emails at a time when coordination, communication and compassion are paramount to a patient and his family. What arrogance! I am so furious with him and am powerless to do anything except give him a rotten review - so there it is.

Every time I have an appt with Dr Corn I have a 2 1/2 he plus wait. By time I see him I am so frustrated, I have pproblems discussing my treatment.

So glad Dr. Corn is on our side. Although, a bit quirky, he is brilliant and dedicated to his patients. He always gets back to our emails and answers every question. He is on top of the latest in research and always gives us great ideas and support. My husband has stage 4 cancer and has lived for 3 years, partly due to Dr. Corn.

Dr. Corn is extremely knowledgable about renal cell carcinoma. His wisdom is impressive but beyond that he genuinely cares for his patients. He will go the extra mile to make sure all treatment options are researched and discussed. He makes me and my husband, a patient, feel safe in his care.
