Dr. Paul Eric Jacobsen, DO

Dr. Paul Jacobsen has been my health care provider in excess of 20 years; however, after my most recent appointment, I know that he can longer be my primary care physician. Upon a follow up visit to the office, the doctor became enraged with me and began yelling and screaming at me because he said he asked me a question four times and I did not hear him. I did mention to Dr. Jacobsen a few years back that I am now wearing hearing aids because based on my screening, the audiologist deemed that this was necessary. Dr. Jacobsen was also wearing a face mask as protective gear from the COVID 19 virus, and for me, this muzzled the sound. It is important to note that just prior to this office visit, the doctor had seen me for routine checkup. Lab work was done relevant to that first visit and I obtained my report from Quest Diagnostics. When I called the office and inquired as to whether treatment was needed for some high and low readings, I was met with what was seemingly disdain. Thus, even… before the visit of which I described above, there were issues about my questioning the medical decision to disregard my lab report reflecting out of range readings. As a result, I was not received well by Dr. Jacobsen. I was not questioning his medical capability, rather I was concerned about my well-being. What I learned early in life is that there is NO excuse for rudeness. Hence, his rudeness during my visit is unacceptable. I will not tolerate that behavior from a physician or anyone else for that matter. Therefore, if Dr. Jacobsen believes that totalitarianism is the approach to assume when caring for patients, then I realize it is time for a change. I sincerely hope that no one else ever experience what I experienced with Dr. Jacobsen.

Dr. Jacobsen has been my doctor since I was 13 years old. I'm now 37 and he has been an amazing doctor for all of my health care and concerns. He comes highly recommended to anyone. He truly cares about his patients. My family go to him too!

Dr. JACOBSEN is the best doctor in Dade county. I love him. He has a good sense of humor and he's very professional.

I have been going to Dr. Jacobsen for many years because he is a caring doctor, spends time with you, offers suggestions to help you out. I love the office staff, they make you feel very comfortable. If you call they help you get the information you need. I highly recommend this doctor.
