Prescribed drugs for people he did not examine. Abused his pad.

I have seen dr. Prunier in his office. I would send everyone I know his way.

His practice is in MD; he has continued to prescribe drugs for patients who moved out of state (at least one moved @ 8 years ago) without seeing them in person for updated evaluations. One star marked only because 0and negative stars not permitted.

I was diagnosed with a psychiatric illness over 10 years ago before being referred to Dr. Prunier by a former colleague of his - my doctor was retiring. I had met other psychiatrists, but had not found one with whom I felt I could create a "bond" as I had with my former physician. With Dr. Prunier, my comfort was almost immediate. Although I had been diagnosed previously and was on a "cocktail" of medications, he helped me find a therapeutic level of medications with the addition of some newer/better ones and phased out of some of the older ones that, all in all, made me much more comfortable. We have weekly scheduled appointments of adequate length of time for talk therapy on various topics and which occasionally includes family members in times of crisis. I find him an astute judge of character, prompt, gentle, compassionate, and kind. I feel lucky to have him as "my doctor". I have recommended him on occasion, and in at least one occasion, he has taken on a client for long… duration. I think that speaks volumes.

Dr. Prunier is knowledgeable, conservative, thoughtful, considerate and kind. His ethical standards are commendable. His care for my young son was life-changing. His level of professionalism assisting parents to collaboratively work with educational providers for bright children with psychiatric challenges is outstanding.
