Dr. Pedro Spiro Montano, MD

This physician self declares himself as an ENT specialist. I came in to my appointment 5 minutes early, only to have to wait over 2 hours past my appointment time to be seen! I should have walked out however had taken the afternoon of work to be here and rescheduling with another ENT would be a hassle for me. The office was extremely run down. When I went in the room the table was torn and floors were dirty. But worst of all the physicians tools were rusty and did not look clean. A rusty tuning fork was even placed in my mouth, on my tooth, then placed back on the kit of clean tools without being sanitized. Physician knowledge in my condition seemed limited. Assessment was far from thorough. No treatment was given however a follow up was still scheduled for three months which makes no sense. I will definitely not be attending that follow up. I never want to have to step in that office again. Also, I speak English and have a limited Spanish vocabulary. Physician kept speaking to me in… Spanish despite introducing myself and answering all questions in English. He kept resorting to Spanish even after I mentioned that I preferred English.

I had an appointment set at 5pm sharp and was informed to arrive 15 minutes early. I gwt there and its a pretty bad run down building and it smells like old. After waiting for 25 minutes the assistant comes in and informs me that the doctor will be 1 hour late for my 5pm appointment as if its ok. I get up and inform the eldery woman that im going to cancel my appointment and cocntact the Veterans Administration and file a complaint. So i ask the eldery woman fornmy paper work back which i had handled to her and she had crumble it up and thrown it in the trash can cuz she had recieved a another copy from the v.a. finally she returns my original form and apologized for throwning my paper work away. I will never return or have anothing to do with this doctor very unprofessional.
