Dr. Peter C. Fanti, MD

Dr. Fanti is an amazing doctor! He is the most thoughtful, caring, and compassionate physician who truly delivers the best care! Dr. Fanti delivered my daughter, after 30 painful hours of labor- it was him and his expertise who made this happen! My labor was long and difficult, but I felt safe with him as my doctor. He might not admit it, but I think he saved my life. I have a healthy and happy, beautiful girl. Thank you Dr. Fanti, I will never forget all you've done for me and my baby!

Where are you Dr. Fanti? You are patient and you listen to your patients! You know your stuff!!! Im grateful to have you as my doctor!!

Can someone please find Dr. Fanti? He is no longer working for NYU or Montefiore. With that said - HE IS THE BEST GYN I HAVE EVER HAD. I have been seen by multiple female GYNs who cited my nonexistent period to being overweight. When I asked for birth control from other GYNs, I was directed to lose weight and once told that my significant other did not care about me. Dr. Fanti was the ONLY doctor who did not pass judgement on me to say it was only because I was overweight. He categorized my situation as a condition and revealed its name- PCOS. He was the only one to make me feel comfortable being a woman with real issues and concerns and didn't pass judgement on the obvious and I truly respect that! He was patient with me with my anxieties and questioning; and though I'm not planning a family yet, he voluntarily created a suggested plan for when the time comes. I pray to find it because looking for doctors now have returned back to pass judgements. Dr. Fanti- if you get to read this… - I cannot express how much gratitude I have for giving me the respect that clients deserve. By diagnosing me, it gave me reassurance that I wasn't going crazy AND has been an indicator to other health problems I have had, related to the diagnosis. Thank you and don't ever change!

I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this doctor. I went to the NYU OBGYN practice and they rotate doctors as your Don’t see the same doctor all the time. Out of all of them, I found doctor Fanti one of the most down to earth and genuine doctors. This was my first and nervous as it is as Inwanted to make sure all was well with baby. He was wonderful! When it was time for delivery, I didn’t know which doctor was on call when I came in. The first half of my stay in the hospital before delivery was another doctor. The next day still in labor, dr Fanti walked in and I was soooo happy he was the doctor to deliver our baby. He did an amazing job perform the C section. Next time around, I want to make sure I get him as the person to deliver number 2.

Saw Dr. Fanti for prenatal and he has been wonderful. Very easy to talk to and patient answering all questions. Highly recommend! NYU has a great facility. Clean office and everything was organized and onetime.

The best doctor you can ever pray to have. Very cautious and respectful.

I have been going to this clinic for over 19 years now. Several providers have changed over the years. When I first met him he was very caring, took his time answering my concerns, very gentle and walked me through everything step by step. He has wonderful bedside manners and returns your calls within a reasonable amount of time. I didn't wait long at all he is a good DR. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had to be induced as I was almost two weeks passed due. Dr. Fanti was by my side making sure I was doing ok and monitoring my progress. He took the time to check on me several times during my 35 hour labor. He was also my doctor throughout the pregnancy and always took his time and answer all my questions. He is amazing and I would like for him to be my doctor for future pregnancies.
