The man has a rare combination of arrogance and incompetence. He likes to prescribe added medication and tests, and refer you to a specialist for anything beyond a tunny nose.

Terrible physical exam

Impersonal and poor communications skills I only wished that I would have read some of these reviews prior to my visit. The Wellstar portal makes it sound like he is the best. I am sure they delete the negative reviews. But my horrible experience with this Doctor seems to be very similar to many others. He is cold, impersonal, and with very poor communication skills. I actually sent a message regarding a medication he prescribed and he never got back to me. I basically did not even bother to take it.

After 4 years of care without ever changing my cholesterol medications, Dr Jungblut decided I needed an appointment to refill this prescription. I arrived at 8:45 AM as I was instructed and waited till 9:25 AM without him coming into the room. I had another appointment and was upset and had to leave. I was charged for the appointment and he refused to refill the prescription without another appointment and left a demeaning message. Definitely think twice about having him as your Doctor.

I cannot recommend this doctor based on his uncomfortable bedside manner. Please go elsewhere if you are looking for someone that seems interested in both your physical and mental wellbeing or if you are looking for someone who uses emotional intuitiveness when getting to know you as a knew patient, as you share personal problems in the hopes that you will get help. I was unable to see any reason to continue disclosing or discussing personal information with him within the first 5-10 minutes of our conversation based on his social and emotional capabilities with me.
