Dr. Peter Kerim Rabiah, MD

I visited Dr Rabiah when my child was 1.5 because it looked like one of his eyes was cross eyed. Turned out, he had a minor astigmatism. Dr. Rabiah suggested I come back when my son was a little older but said he would 90% need glasses. We returned when my son was 3 and after many tests, Dr Rabiah said my son 100% needed glasses and would need to wear them from the second he wakes up until the second he goes to bed. That seemed a bit extreme to me so I took him for a second opinion. The second opinion doctor said my son absolutely DID NOT need glasses. She said to come back every 6 months so she can check his eyes, that children's eyes change a lot in their younger years. Since then, we have been going back every 6 months and she has not prescribed glasses. He is now almost 6 years old and we just went for his check up and his vision is 20/20, his astigmatism has almost corrected itself completely and he DOES NOT NEED GLASSES. If I would have listened to Dr Rabiah, my son's eyes would… have probably declined in their health and he would have needed glasses for the rest of his life. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION! Especially when an eye doctor makes such an aggressive choice to have your 3 year old wear glasses 12 hours per day for a minor astigmatism.

My son has gone to Dr. Rabiah for 5 years, beginning when he was 2 years old. Dr. Rabiah has been so wonderful with him that he actually looks forward to going to the eye doctor (and my other two children begged me to take them, too!). My son had very successful eye surgery with Dr. Rabiah about 4 years ago. I can't recommend him enough!

Dr developed a great,friendly rapport with my 22-month old daughter. Very kind, yet professional, answered all my questions. Couldn't have chosen a better specialist for my child.

Doctor Rabiah is very friendly and dedicated.

We absolutely love Dr. Rabiah. He has treated 2 of my children. unfortunately we have moved and no longer see Dr Rabiah and his staff.

Dr Rabiah has very bad manners, he doesn't know how to treat people and very racist. The rest of the oftanmologist are great, but I don't recommend at all Dr Rabiah, horrible.

Dr. rabiah has been my daughters opthamologist since she was born a Micro preemie (23 weeks gestation) she has had many eye issues over the years requiring surgery - but Dr. Rabiah has been perfect in getting her vision to be the best it can. Thank you Dr. Rabiah for taking care of her for the past 11 years!

excellent experience, busy , so hard to get appointments

My four kids saw Dr. Rabiah for a checkups.He is a great doctor and has a lot of patience for kids. I will keep taking my kids to his office evey year.
