Dr. Peter Nathaniel Ramsey, MD

Would not recommend this doctor for a TKR. Two years later my knee is worse than before the surgery. He dud nothing to try and find out what was wrong. Basically dismissed me. I am in pain everyday.

Do to an illness and death in family I had to cancel my hip surgery.After calling office twice and then stopping at Office to reschedule, they told me they don't know his schedule.Sounds to me I am being penalized for canceling.

The best of the best PLUS Conway hospital has the best staff in this area and unfortunately I know from having to spend a couple of visits at Grand Strand..NO comparison..Run don't walk (if you can) humor to Dr Ramsey and the Conway hospital

Dr. Ramsey replaced my knee (TKR.) back in 2014. Surgically he did a fantastic job! :) My scar has healed so well, it's barely visible now. :) There were problems after surgery, as an inpatient, though. I didn't like or approve of my hospital stay at Conway Medical Center, at all! {I've been a patient there many times, & this was :'( the worst ever!} I left (d/c) after being there just overnight, & I was approved for a #3 night stay! (Routine things at CMC. are okay, but I'm not sure I'd want to be an inpatient there again(?) after the worst stay in a hospital ever!) Sorry, Back to Dr. Ramsey, he knows his craft & does it well, from the diagnose to repairing the joint. He's knowledgable, kind,has a good bedside manner, & helpful. They even host/do a pre-op seminar, of sorts, with Q.&A., with an RN., plus a hospital staff member. This was a great way to ease into the transition/into getting a joint replacement done. Dr. Ramsey also gives you a big blue notebook full of "info" on your… upcoming surgery. His nurse at Coastal Ortho. (Nikki) is polite & helpful, plus, returns phone calls in a timely manner. I would definitely want him as my surgeon again, I only wish that he had privileges at more than one hospital!?! "Dr. Ramsey is a #5 star surgeon, if you need a hip or knee replacement!" Dr. Ramsey replaced both of my knees due to arthritis. He is absolutely wonderful. I am pain free and can move with ease. The Staff is second to none. Thank you Dr. Ramsey

Dr. Ramsey is simply the best. I would travel cross country to have his care and surgical expertise.

Just had hip-replacement surgery two weeks ago and can not say enough about Dr. Ramsey and his staff. Everyone was knowledgable, courteous, informed and friendly. The staff at Conway Medical Center was A1....Dr. Ramsey has a support staff that is TERRIFIC!!.. Thank you for giving me back my life!
