To start with booking the appointment was not an easy process, the woman in the office was abrup, and down right rude. She was the same in person, I was booked for a 10:30 appointment was not taken in until 11:45 whereas I commented to Dr. Zacharia how busy he was he then proceeded to berate me about how precious his time was. Not even a week later I recevied a call from woman in office demaning payment, advised I gave my insurance information she said i did not and i was to pay her immediately, when I told her no she proceeded to hang up on me. I called got another woman in the office who took my insurance info. My deductable was huge called to set payment arrangements as he would not perform cataract surgery without payment in full. They denied a payment plan and fired me as a client, telling me they will be taking me to small claims. I just called to get appointment notes so I can get the much needed surgery they declined to provide notes unless I pay them again told them I can do… a payment plan, she hung up on me AGAIN.

This Dr. books about 10 people per visit. The wait is absurd. I called 4x to speak with him and never received a call back . Staff is not pleasant to speak with. I would not even give him a poor.

If you’re looking for a doctor don’t start with Zacharia and if you’re a fed-up patient wondering if you can do better- you can! I stayed with him for many years because he knew my case, but waited between 1 and 4 hours to see him. He has no respect for patient’s time and books several appointments at once. After waiting 40 min. I had to leave to go to work on my last visit. They had the gall to send me a bill for $50.00 for missing my appointment. I requested my medical records be sent to another doctor and they refused, making me send a letter in writing and then, after 2 weeks of phone calls, I had to go in and stand there while they printed them out - for $32.00. I found that the last 3 pages were notes about my phone calls in which both office staff and doctor lied about what happened and belittled me as a patient, implying I had exaggerated wait times, had unreasonable expectations and didn’t understand my own medical needs. I saw DR. WEISMANN today! Great guy, no wait, and I was… back at work without missing a moment of time with my students! That’s what I expect from a doctor! You can do a lot better!

Dr Z was recommended to us by another opthamologist, following the discovery of complications in my husband's eye condition. Dr Z' s professional expertise and caring approach made us very comfortable in proceeding with the needed surgery. We are very happy with him and his staff and would gladly wait when necessary to be seen here. Highly recommended!

The wait is long but I would want is expertise where my eyes are concerned. He is very pleasant but worth the wait.

My elder mother has had to wait over 2 hours from the actual time she was scheduled. Her third visit I believe. Happens each time.

I have been going to Dr. Zacharia for several years for glaucoma and he has performed 2 successful surgeries on me. I travel 1 hr to see him and if there is a wait, I do not mind at all. I would rather wait than see a doctor that takes you right away and is not as qualified. I was just seen yesterday and waited less than 5 minutes. I trust him with my vision and would not go anywhere else.

Dr Zacharia books patients every 10 minutes. The wait time to see him from your scheduled appointment is never less than 2-hours and has been 3 hours on more than one occasion. The office location is not handicap friendly, especially for those in a wheelchair. The back parking lot is unlit at night. He has a blatant disregard for his patients time and discomfort, many of which are elderly and left sitting uncomfortably for excessive periods of time.
