Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma, MD

6 years ago Dr Sharma did surgery on my tongue cancer. The surgery was long and complicated with the removal 53 lymph nodes from my neck. He got all the cancer but left enough tongue that I can still talk. I didn't have to have chemo or radiation and 6 years later I am cancer free and living a normal life. I believe that Dr Sharma's skill in that surgery saved my life and gave me a normal life to the extent that I no longer think about the tongue cancer. Dr Sharma is a blessing in my life.

After waiting 80 minutes past my appt time I asked the receptionist when I was going to see the doctor. She told me he had just gone in with another patient and that it would still be a while. I left without being seen. It's unfortunate that Dr. Sharma has no consideration for other people's time. I won't be going back.

He has zero bedside manner! my last visit for ultra sound for thyroid cancer he said another US in 9 months. i said that is a very long time to wait to see if my cancer has returned, i might be dead in 9 months, he said "we all die" and walked out of the room! Sherry Anne Y

Yesterday was my first visit with doctor Sharma. I had read a few of the not so good reviews but I had made a decision to go to him because of the good ones and also the recommendation of my doctor. Let me say this was one of the BEST experiences that I have had at a doctor’s office. What waiting? I did not wait for more that 30-60 seconds for anyone at this office. I did not sit in the waiting room for 1 second and my appointment was later in the afternoon. I went to Dr. Sharma as a consultation for parathyroid surgery as a referral from both my family doctor and an endocrinologist specialist. As per the recommendations I was 100% sure that we were going to be talking about the surgery and nothing else. I had many question for him to make sure that this was the right choice for me …. not the surgery but the surgeon. To my surprise Dr. Sharma had read all of my blood tests results in detail and had other thought besides surgery. His approach to my condition was refreshing. He… thought of every detail that the tests showed. I would recommend him highly. I will be seeing him in another 6 months and hoping that with his approach to my problem I will be fine.

Wait time was horrible. There is no communication between staff and DR. Dr Sharma was extremely arrogant and did not seem to care about the issues i was having. I would not recommend this Dr or clinic to anyone.

Be prepared to wait long time, however the Dr. is great the staff not so much so.

Dr. Sharma is one in a million and I owe him my life. Through his exceptional capability I have had an additional five plus years. The caring he has given me is so special and really unusual. Should you need someone to save your life, call Dr. Sharma!

Dr. Sharma is professional and clear in communicating his diagnosis and treatment plan. Unfortunately I had a complication of surgery and the followup has been miserable. When I have gotten in to see Dr. Sharma he has been great but the weeks waiting for an appointment and the misdirection by the medical assistants who offer poor advice over the phone has been distressing.

I visited intermountain to evaluate a minor pain in my jaw. It turned out to be nothing, but during the visit was completely misled by Dr. sharma into getting diagnosed for what turned out to be elective surgery to fix a deviated septum. His bedside manner deceived me into thinking that the mri diagnosis was urgent and that insurance would cover the cost. Insurance covered a small portion of the cost but I was stuck with a large bill for an MRI. I ultimately elected not to have the surgery. After several rounds of trying to negotiate with intermountains billing department, they rudely ignored and ultimately rejected any of my attempts to settle. Then they sent my account to collections where they continued to ignore communications resulting in a large interest charge. Dr sharma and Intermountain ent should be ashamed of their unethical and irresponsible sales tactics. Would not recommend.

I'm a cancer patient. I came to my earliest morning appointment and had to wait over 50 min to see Dr. Sharma. When I pointed out to the long wait, he said it was his way of running his practice. This was not working for me so I asked to refer me to another physician. He suggested to go find one myself and don't come back because he didn't want to treat me. After I left, my interpreter's spouse had an appointment with Dr. Sharma. Doctor shared my story with my interpreter in presence of his wife, which is a violation of HIPPA compliance.
