Dr. Rachel G Foster, PsyD

I had a C&P exam with Dr. Rachel G Foster today for the VA. I was really scared and nervous about the exam but she was very professional and kind. She made the whole process easy. I felt like I can be open about my problems and it was very easy to communicate with her. She also provided feedback about my issues that was very helpful. I would definitely recommend her!

Dr. Foster was amazing! I felt very comfortable talking to her about my PTSD. Highly recommend her for anyone seeking compassionate and professional care.

Dr. Rachel Foster explained everything before the evaluation. She was very thorough and asked if we had any questions at the end. My wife also spoke and appreciated Dr. Foster’s friendliness and professionalism.

I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Foster for my mental health and she was very kind. She was able to ask me all of the questions needed, gave me an opportunity to speak my truth and showed compassion. Dr. Foster seems to truly love veterans and is good at what she does! I don't know what kind of rating I'll get but if she ever decides to take patients for therapy in her own practice, I'll be signing up. Thank you Doc for the work that you do for us veterans.

Dr. Foster did my evaluation for PTSD. She was very kind, listened to me and was very accommodating (I was 23 minutes late because of tech issues). She was pleasant, very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. At the end she took the time to listen to any other concerns I had and left time for me to think about any other problems I was having, in case I couldn't think of anything before. I've had pretty bad experiences with other C&P's and Dr. Foster was a pleasant surprise, she actually CARES!!! Also, I have other buddies who have been evaluated by her and we have all had a great experience with her.

I had a telehealth appt with Dr. Rachel Foster on Saturday, Sept 17, 2022. I was scheduled for 7PM EST. I received an email through the scheduling system that she could meet with me earlier, which was great. The email indicated that I could log in, wait & she would get to me as soon as she was able. It also included a phone number to call her, which I did. Dr. Foster was pleasant & professional from the start. She made me feel heard and understood, while probing into significantly difficult areas & very uncomfortable, life-altering memories. I appreciated her approach, as this was a very very hard discussion for me. Thank you, Dr. Foster. I appreciate you helping me make baby steps toward complete healing. I know I will get there.

Rachel had canceled my appointment before it had even started and said that I was a no show when I called LHI for assistance they noted she had never entered the room and verified I was in there. Rachel noted in there I was a no show and made it almost impossible to reschedule. I had to call a LHI manager to clarify the case which I had proof of her not being there and me being in the room I had to be on phone calls for 2 hours so they could undo her mistakes. She had caused so much stress and I have mental health issues would not recommend. Has been a detriment to my mental health please don’t allow this women to keep getting away with this.
