Dr. Rachel Damaris Burke, DO

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Burke. She will take the time to explain anything if you ask. She's aways able to work you in for an appointment and no-one complains if i need to show up at opening time with a sick child. I appreciate each and every staff member. They have all helped to make arrangements for me and go out of their way to find a book my child would really enjoy..and even sent home a special book for my daughter that didn't even attend that appointment. Dr Burke is hands on. She wants to do her own assessments and I love the continuity of care. My kids love her and a feel comfortable around her. She makes time to attend local events and spread awareness. She supports children reading..she gives a book away with each appointment. Shes run a backpack program for kids for school, provided sack lunches for local children during the summer without financial stipulations. She has had and may still have a clothing closet or coats for kids that need them. I… know if i need anything for my kids.. I can turn to Dr Burke and her staff.

I must say I had high hopes for this office after talking to people around town that were familiar with or had been here before but as for my visit the girl at the front desk acted like I was disturbing "her time" by asking questions about the computerized paperwork things and the nurse that placed us in a room after about 30 mins at least in waiting was short, snippy, and seem to not really care what I was saying she just wanted to know anwsers to the questions she needed. When the doc finally came in she was short and to the point which may seem good to some but for me the time taken to be personal with people falls in first priority because without patients what would they do????
