Dr. Rachelle Briggette Janush, DO

Dr. Janush has EXTREMELY long wait times - up to 2 1/2 hours. She caused a pneumothorax giving a pain injection which required several days in the hospital.

I am a retired nurse and so I feel as though I know doctors. After reading the reviews that are unsatisfactory, I had to shake my head. Dr. Janush is THE most caring, competent, knowledgeable doctor that I have EVER been to, worked with, or observed. Any patient that sees Dr. Janush is fortunate because they are in VERY good hands. I am a long time patient of Dr. Janush. I am so glad I found her I suffered from migraines so debilitating it kept me from work some days. Dr. Janush has for well over ten years stopped my migraines. Later she helped me with a herniated disc in my neck without surgery. I'm not sure where I'd be without Dr. Janush and her awesome staff.

I have been seeing Doctor's for my illnesses for about five years now. And I'll start off by saying that NONE of them even come close to the SERVICES that she provides....And that's why I'm keeping her! FYI, I'll fire, yes, I said FIRE a doctor that doesn't provide me with service and knowledge that I need to make myself better. Her services include thorough EXAMINATION, which is NEEDED before beginning diagnosis. After the examination process which she is VERY thorough, then she may order a series of test to confirm what she found during the examination. Once she receives the results of the testing, she will COMPLETLY explain what the results are. This is unlike ANY other doctor I've seen. She doesn't rush, she spends an appropriate amount of time with you so that you have the NEEDED knowledge to move forward with your treatment that's right for you. And best of all, she LISTENS to you and your concerns and she answers your questions with enthusiasm. Once she gets to know how… stubborn you can be (that's me LOL), she reformulates to accommodate YOU and your stubbornness. Who else does that??? Nobody!!! The last Pain Management Doctor I had prior to Dr. Janush had me bend over and "try" to touch my toes and then reach for the ceiling...That and that alone was the examination. From there, they threw pain pills at me and within minutes bolted from the room and left me with a Nurse Practitioner to answer any of my questions. That is NOT a road to TREATMENT. After 3 visits with that "group" of business doctors, I made the mistake of complaining that I was still having high levels of pain and wanted a different dosage of medication. The treating doctor YELLED at me that I was just looking for that pop!...And he left the room. Did I mention that he leaned in on me and was sticking his finger in my face while yelling at me? I went home and formulated a letter of termination and hand delivered it the next day! Dr. Janush doesn't leave the room, she doesn't yell at you, and she listens to you. She is a enthusiastic Doctor that provides a superior level of care over any doctor I've had in the past...And she is one smart cookie! She also will share her life experiences with you just like you share yours with her. I personally like getting to know my doctor. It forms a bond with you like a friendship. I have been with Dr Janush since 2010 & when I moved 5 years ago, I still see her even tho it's a 90 mile drive. She is worth it! She makes me feel like more than a just patient.

I have been going here for about 5 months and I have gotten hardly any relief. She always seems to talk about herself and her own needs opposed to mine. I've gotten injections that are not helping and she says that they take time to help with the pain. It hasn't. She also keeps upping doses on medications(no pain meds) that are also not helping. I am considering going somewhere else, because I feel like I am wasting my time here.

They prescribe medicines with side effects and then don't allow follow up. Get annoyed when you inquire and just say go to ER. Also, don't let you know about cheaper alternatives.

Dr Janush is a very thorough and caring doctor. She has a very good attitude and treats me like a person, not just a patient.
