Dr. Radhika Gunturu Kakarla, MD

I would not recommend Dr Kakarla. Before even coming in exam room she was discussing confidential treatment info with another patient just outside exam room. When she did come in she was rushed and didn’t listen to my concerns and cut me off. She then proceeded to leave exam with her gloves on, use a laptop and didn’t change her gloves. It was a terrible experience from Start to finish and would not suggest anyone see her.

Good bedside manners . Made me felt at ease .

I’m a little confused by the very old reviews. Dr. Kakarla helped me at Paoli Hospital after my membranes ruptured in a car accident, and I now see her as a regular patient. She’s kind and thorough. Sure, she’s energetic and moved quickly, but she’s a superb physician. During one of the scariest times of my life, she not only helped me through it, but she texted me for check ups and helped me through the loss. She’s been by far the most detailed and comprehensive physician during a subsequent pregnancy and spends hours on her patient care. I’m so glad I see her.

Had a terrific experience. This doctor is the best of all time.

She knows we have had difficult pregnancies and has taken us “under her wing” to make sure this time around is better. She has taken so much time to answer questions and even called on a weekend to discuss non-emergency concerns when she was not on call. She consults well with the perinatologists and I couldn’t appreciate her more.

Dr. Kakarla makes you feel comfortable and explains anything you want to know. She is attentive and gives you answers you can understand. I would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Kakarla didn't spend more than 3 mins during the appointment. She rushed and didn't give a chance to ask any questions.

I would never recommend Dr. Kakarla to anyone. She rushes through your visit..once answering her cell phone during one of my appointments. I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and had some questions that I needed her to answer. After my 3rd phone call to her, over a span of 2 weeks, she finally called me back to tell me she worked nights the week prior (seriously??) and then while on the phone with me kept telling me how her daughter kept texting her through our phone call and kept laughing about it as she texted her back while trying to answer my questions. The following week, I called their answering service because I had some issues related to my endometriosis the night prior and was very sick. The answering service asked me if it was an emergency and didn't seem very interested in my problem. They would have someone call me back within the hour..that was 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard from anyone!!!! I would never recommend her or this practice to anyone.
