All the bad reviews are true! I knew when it was really easy to get an appointment that this guy probably sucked at his job. Yup, it was true from the first appointment. He will gaslight you, tell you you're wrong about your lived experience, is an incredibly poor listener, is condescending and completely lacks any compassion. He is HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs unless you don't care how your psych treats you.

I saw this provider about a year. I waited atleast 30 minutes past my appointment time each visit. He degraded me and was extremely condescending. I became so afraid of him I did not speak up for myself regarding my care which one should never feel in regards to health care.

Poor experience

This Dr. doesn't have time to tend to his patients needs. If you need medical records forward to a doctor or even a lawyer, he" doesn't have time.." Mental health records can not be obtained by a patient so you' re at his mercy!! Patient needs don't stop after he gets your money!!

The doctor didn’t seem to listen to my situation and actually contradicted himself . Disappointed.

I believe this is a very good psychiatrist. I've been seeing him for about 4 months. My family Dr. had given me a prescription that I felt was not working. I went to Dr. Sarma after doing a decent amount of research on what I felt my problem was and what I felt I needed. When Dr. Sarma interviewed me and convinced me that I had misdiagnosed myself, I agreed to take the medication as he prescribed. I was to take the same medicine but the whole dose once a day. The first day I was so dizzy I could barely sit up. I could feel something happening to my brain. The 2nd day I felt more normal than I had in at least 2 years. The meds have been working since that day. I have the ability to concentrate on work and handle stress as well as have better energy just as both Dr's expected. When I met Dr. Sarma I was complaining about work and how it's changed and how much work there is and how no one cares and how close I am to retirement and how unfair it all is and he said " if you're being… abused, why not quit and do something else". Now you can take that a bunch of different ways but the truth is..... it's true. We have choices even if some seem unreasonable. He's a very good Dr. Give him a chance. He gets to the point. If you want to be babied, he's not for you.

This guy is very sneaky. Just seems like all he cares about is the money. Typical though, should of known as soon as I looked at him.

I have never been treated so ignorant and poor from what is supposed to be a professional. I would not recommend him to anyone. Arrogant, uncaring and acts superior. Should not be in practice.
