Shadiest guy on earth ! Pill mill!

This place is dangerous!!! They falsely advertise being a place to “Bring you hope”. I have NEVER in decades of dealing with people in the mental health field have come across a place/business that is any more unprofessional, neglectful,incompetent and unorganized, as a place can possibly be. They DO NOT care! They are putting patients lives at risk but their constant unprofessionalism and neglect. They ARE only doing a disservice to you. It is MY responsibility as a Mental Health Advocate to make people aware to NOT trust this place or to expect any kind of help! This place needs to be shut down ASAP! This should be taken extremely serious by Dr. Ranjan who is the owner of this atrocious place called Charak Center for Health and Wellness.

Absolutely the worst and a he is a con artist. Going to his Charak Center was the biggest mistake!!!

I decided to look for a new psychiatrist to help me with my anxiety and panic attacks. I was referred to Dr. Ranjan and can tell you firsthand he really know what he is doing! Dr Ranjan was incredibly thorough during my intake interview. The staff at the Medina office were very polite and professional. I was surprised that they actually took the time to listen and seemed genuinely interested in my well-being. I am now a full-time patient with him and could not be happier. I have struggled with anxiety and panic attacks for over 26 years and this is the first time I actually feel a sense of comfort knowing that there is a doctor's office that is well-staffed with knowledgeable people. I'm looking forward to my future without having to worry whether or not my doctor will be available. The Charak Center respond quickly. They got me an apartment right away

I have seen him more than once red in the face screaming a lot at his staff. How professional is that from a dr that is a behavior dr??!! RUN from him if you see him. He tried to say I was bipolar years ago and the nurse practitioner said I wasn’t. I have gone to another dr for years now and was not ever diagnosed as bipolar.

Dr. Ranjan is a busy man, but it is clear that he cares about your health. Not every medication will work for everyone. Luckily, what he prescribed to my wife completely changed her life for the better. Staff have been good and we love the interns that do intake there. Highly recommend, but again please be patient.

At the advice of my psychologist, I took my daughter to be evaluated by a psychiatrist. I found Dr. Ranjan on my insurance website. A student asked all the questions, which was fine, Dr. Ranjan came in and the first words out of his mouth to my 15 year old daughter was "oh, you're pretty" He called her pretty multiple times and when she left the room, he told me I needed to be careful because she is very attractive. He looked at the information gathered by the student for about 2 seconds said she showed early symptoms of bipolar and tried to prescribe a $1200 prescription and klonipan (sp?) She's 15!! They also said they needed to do an ekg. A nurse did that. Didn't offer my daughter a gown or anything, just told her to take her shirt and bra off. The case manager didn't seem like she knew what she was doing, and he was very pushy about using his pharmacy that delivered to the door for everyone in the house. Both my daughter and I left that place feeling like we needed a shower. Now my… daughter is even more skeptical about being evaluated somewhere else because of her experience here. If I could give them 0 stars I would. It was a horrible experience that wasted about 2.5 hours of my life.

I went to Ranjan many years ago as a child. About 8 to 13 years of age. He put me on multiple high dose persriptions one of which no child should ever be on. I was on 2 pills of 1800 milligrams of Lithium. For those of you who do not know lithium is given to patients with dementia sometimes. It heightened my iron levels extremley. He also put me on 800 milligrams of Risperdone in which i rapidly gained weight. When i was 15 i stopped taking Risperdone and lost 150 extra pounds. Now i am 20 years old and not only am i anemic now due to low iron levels. I was on lithium for so long that my body adjusted to abnormally high iron levels. I stopped taking lithium when i was 16 on my own accord because i felt like a zombie. I had no emotion whatsoever. I told this to Ranjan multiple of times and he brushed it off with comments like "you'll get used to it" and "that's better than being sad now isn't it" Anyways not only do i suffer from extremely low iron levels i also now have seizures.… Somehow lithium damaged my left and right frontal lobe causing me to have seizures. My doctor is still decifering whether i need brain surgery or not. Every time i came there he didn't listen he just threw perscriptions at me and made my doses higher and higher. Im sure he made a fortune off of me and the prescriptions he wrote me. These medications he irresponsibly put me on have messed me up so much. It ruined my body. If i had the money id sue him. Please parents do not EVER take your child to Dr. Ranjan. Any patients of his i would advise to find a new psychiatrist.

Has no idea how to diagnose. Prescribes medications that make him the most profit with no concern how they effect patients. Went in for ADHD medication, ended up drugged out of my mind. Ruined my life. Now many other doctors have told me I have no symptoms of what he was prescribing for. This is not a doctor, Doctors care about their patients. This guy scammed a ton of money off of Medicaid prescribing medications that MADE ME SICK so I would have to come back. Thankfully other doctors understood what was happening and got me off those drugs.

This place helped me with my drug addiction. I get medication, group treatment, individual counseling and case management. Thank you
