Dr. Ralph Emmert Aldinger JR., DO

It was 36 yrs ago that I first became a pt. Of Dr Aldingers. I was pregnant with my 4th child. I wasn’t happy with any ob/gyn in my area so I chose Doc. No sooner I found out I was expecting. Than nursing school started. I contracted pneumonia and he wanted me in the hospital, but I could because of school. Against his better judgement he allowed me to continue school. Many times he wanted me on light duty but my instructors said full duty or be dismissed. Again against his better judgment and tons of begging he put me on full duty. Then the day came that I was in labor. The we’re having trouble picking up the baby’s heart rate around the 6cm mark. He put an internal heart monitor on the babies head and never left my side. My son is 36 now with a son of his own. In 2000 I start to have an extremely heavy period that never quit dispite everything that he tried. Finally he fought till the board at Tyrone hospital allowed me to be admitted as an emergency. They immediate… hung two units of whole blood. The next morning Doc did a hysterectomy and hung 2 more units on me during surgery and two units post surgery. He’d come in my room, pull up a chair and talk to me about anything. He saved my life but he was also the best doc I’ve ever had. I live in Lancaster co now and my daughter is 16 weeks pregnant. There is an extremely good chance she may need a csection. I’d give my right arm if this man would deliver my grandchild. If u have him, cherish him. He’s the best there is.
