Dr. Ralph Silverman, MD

How is it that the head pharmacist at Walgreens took 30 seconds to diagnose what this office could not figure out in 3 days? While, the whole time, I’m suffering the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. And without a doubt, this was the rudest and most incompetent staff I’ve ever dealt with in the Medical field. They had me fast and refrain from liquids for a procedure that they forgot to schedule and didn’t even bother to call. Again, this entire time, I’m experiencing unbearable pain. Then they lied and said they never told me I was supposed to have the procedure done that day, forgetting that the other nurse had already admitted to having me refrain from food and liquids. They were caught in a straight up lie and continued to make me feel like this was somehow my fault. I truly believe that this office should not be able to treat patients ever again. My attorney will be filing a formal complaint with the Medical Board and I will try my best to see that none of you are ever… allowed to do this to another person ever again.

Rude, arrogant and showed extreme lack of care for this elderly patient. The patient died under this doctor's care. Highly unacceptable!

Rude, arrogant and intimidating are just a few words I'd use to describe Dr Silverman's bedside manor. While I have no complaints on his skill as a surgeon, his attitude towards his patients and the patient's caregivers is one of the worst I've experienced from a doctor. In my opinion the comfort level with your doctor is as important as your trust in their skill. If this is something you consider as well, I would definitely recommend you choose elsewhere.

Silverman did not let me know CT scan results looked normal. Silverman did not schedule me for a colonoscopy which he said was next step. Silverman did not respond after we brought previous CT scan results from other hospital for Dr to compare. (Even though we called his office a week later and specifically asked him to call and let us know what the difference was.) Did not see or hear from Dr again until hospitalized for diverticulitis again about a month later. Dr saw me once in hospital but gave no information, answered no questions. Released from hospital, told to schedule follow up appt. His office scheduled my appt for afternoon Dr was not there. I was told to call back and change appt. I called back and said to not make appt until I could verify my insurance would pay for it, as the Dr wanted me to get another CT scan. (I complained that the last CT scan he told me to get he never gave me the results of. His office told me that is how he operates, nothing wrong, no call or… info.) When I called back two days later, was told one week in advance was not enough time to schedule the CT scan before a Dr appt in nine days. Have not gone back since.

I wouldn't take my dog to this doctor. Just about the money.

Dr. Silverman was very knowledge and professional and saw me in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him and would see him again for any problems that would arise.

Dr. Silverman was the first doctor I talked to after suffering with diverticulitis for a few years when I was admitted to the hospital. I was suffering with an abyss on my large intestine. I went through a month of antibiotic infusions before surgery. I was ready for surgery after dealing with a fistula in my bladder. He preformed surgery and after 2 months of recovery the pain is gone. Highly recommend. Thanks dr Silverman.
