Dr. Ramamoorthy Sundaresan

He performed an upper endoscopy on me two years ago and told me he found nothing special except a few polyps. On a followup that I had to initiate, he again stated this and told me to be less stressed. It should have been a red flag that he seemed annoyed when I tried to go in to talk to him after the procedure to discuss the findings rather then when I was half passed out in the post-op recovery area. I moved and started seeing a new specialist, who was unable to get the post operative report for over a year until going through the hospital record office rather than this doctor's office. The report clearly stated there was a hiatal hernia and other miscellaneous things, none of which were mentioned to me! I finally feel validated to know there was actually something wrong with me but I don not understand why this doctor lied to me and then tried to block access to my records. He is a fraud but it is impossible to know if it is deliberate misrepresentation or just plain… incompetence. Use another doctor if you actually want to get better!

I went to him as i had lost my job and wanted only a a stomach check up as my digestive system is very slow. He sat with me like 1 hour talked and then i said i want a physical check up. so he referred me to his wife with a HUGE list of blood test. I asked him how much will these cost he said not much its just normal physical. I got a bill of 800 bucks!!! and he knew I lost my job! I go to his wife and she is like why do you have such a long list of bloodtest ??? i fought a lot for my money i had to pay all of it after my insurance which was 675 dollars! I would not recommend him at all!

Dr. Sundaresan is an exceptional doctor. He goes out of his way just to meet the patient even if it is out of his schedule. Maybe that is the reason why we spent a lot of time in waiting because he has too many patient and I have seen the same faces through the years. He is very professional in his dealings and he is honest in telling you if you have a problem. Choosing him and his wife (Dr. Gayathri) maybe one of the best medical decision we have made in our llfe.

Dr. Sundaresan is a one of kindest, compassionate, superb gastroenterologist and physicians. He is a great human being and a consumate doctor. He is always when we need him. He exceptionally bright and gives 200% t all his pts. He is very noble and humble. He is amazing as a person very affable and pleasant.
