Don't even bother. This guy has issues. He needs to quit. Better yet. He needs meds.

Dr. Bathina was very kind and caring during initial consult. He took a detailed history of my pain and even showed me my MRI images. I'm so happy the surgeon sent me him. I was able to get in last minute due to cancelation thanks to his staff. They were extremely kind and sweet. I can't say enough good things about the clinic. Good thing I didn't take to much stock in the bad reviews here. I can see how they were upset about not getting pain medicine. For me personally I'd rather a physician NOT mask my pain. I saw this doctor a while back, and I am still “steamed” about what a quack he is. He was rude, arrogant, and ignorant. I was referred to him for chronic back problems due to blown discs. First, I am a police officer and I came to see him over my lunch hour. Obviously, despite being on my lunch break, I am still required to be prepared to handle emergencies. This clown had the nerve, first thing when he saw me, to try to tell me I couldn’t have a firearm in a healthcare facility. He wanted me to leave it in my car even after I explained I was on-duty and on my lunch break. I had to educate him that as a police officer, I would not remove my weapon, and because he continued to push the issue, I had to inform him that under federal law he could not force me to do so. He became real snotty and rambled on about how guns are dangerous, etc. He said maybe I should come see him another day when I was able to leave it at home. I told him that wasn’t going to happen either. I wasn’t pleased… with his attitude, or him trying to get involved in my business about things that didn’t concern him, but since I was there I went through the initial consult. Ultimately, he talked about doing spinal injections, but when he sarcastically said he hadn’t paralyzed anyone yet with this procedure, his ignorance went to a whole other level. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this nut job. I wouldn’t trust him, and he has no respect. God forbid the day he needs the police to pull his rear out of the fire because he certainly won’t be able to defend himself. I never went back. My advice, do yourself a favor an find a doctor who knows his job and sticks to the business at hand, which is healing patients; not trying to pedal their liberal politics and disarm the police.

I saw Dr. Bathina for 1 1/2 yrs before I moved out of state. He read my MRI & explained it to me. I had 9 to11 spinal injections to ease my back pain and sciatica, along with pain meds. He has a great bedside manner, his staff is friendly and I was even squeezed in for an injection on a very painful day. I never had pain during the injections and I would highly recommend him. I would give my eye tooth for another office visit, as I have not found another Pain MD, yet.

He started out okay as a pain doc four years ago. Now he treats me awful. He won't return phone calls all of a sudden. The office is never open when it's supposed to be. Staff is rude and unorganized. Dr. B. talked me into letting him insert a spinal stim and it doesn't work. I want it taken out of my body and he's blowing me off. Very disappointed in his lack of professional behavior. I would not recommend him.

I began treatments from Dr. Bethina about four years ago after an MRI revealed three ruptured lumbar disks. After consultations with the doctor, he recommended a series of injections. His analysis of the problem and treatment over a four week period resulted in a successful elimination of 99 percent of the pain with a minimal amount of pain medication. He is very patient in answering questions withot trying to build up your expectations. I would and have recommended him to my friends.

If you are looking for a kind Dr. who talks to you like you are a person and not an object do yourself a favor and move on quickly. This Dr. is just plain rude to talk with. He isn't listening when you are speaking, gets information wrong due to his lack of attention to you. Consider this a warning and pick another Dr. Don't even go to the first appointment and waste your time. I so wish I had looked on line prior to booking my appointment as it seems other felt as I did.

I have seen Dr.Bathina for awhile now, followed all his tx recommendations and he treats me like I am faking my pain, and just after pain medications. He is rude and his staff is even ruder. I'm going to another pain clinic that will treat me like a person and acknowledge that I have real pain!!!!

Treated me like I was an addict who was only seeking pills and I only seen him once! talk about first impressions never again he was rude no bed side manners at all..
