Dr. Rami Rafael Grossmann, MD

My son who is a college freshman struggled through first semester with poor grades even though he was working with tutors, TA's, going to office hours and studying in the library for exams. The focus issues he had in high school which we never addressed (because no teacher ever told me he could have ADHD and he was constantly on his computer and texting while studying so I felt he was the reason for his average grades) were now in college, magnified. I knew now he needed to get tested. After my sons first consultation with Dr Grossmann he listened carefully to what my son said about not remembering lectures, details of conversations with people he has, and not be able to focus while studying or reading- the Doctor said he can help him- My son went for a blood test, had a focus test, brain wave test, submitted report cards from high school and elementary school. After all the results were in and we had a second visit He was then started on Adderall 5 mg to start daily in the… AM gradually working the dosage up- He called us with tears of joy- after the morning class on only 5 mg. He said he actually remembered everything that was said in his lecture!! He said he has never felt this way in a class room. Thank you Dr. Grossmann for giving my son the tools to be successful in college! We will be forever grateful- Judy

Worst decision I ever made to bring my child to this doctor.How he can still be doing his job.I highly recommend to everyone to not go to this man...

My son has seen Dr. grossman since 2 for a severe speech delay where he was eventually diagnosed with verbal apraxia. Dr. grossman was very thorough and ran several tests to rule out other issues. With his help my son received services through pre k for his speeches delay. At 6 my son was having issues focusing on school and being very distracted. The school was considering self contained classroom. After several tests dr grossman diagnosed him with mild ADD. We started him on low dose meds which worked wonders! (We already were getting OT and I changed his diet and it wasn't enough, I didn't just choose medication) my son's school life is so much better now and he's so much happier. When Dr. grossman ran my son's blood work he found his thyroid stimulating hormone was under productive and sent us to an endocrinologist for follow up. If it wasn't for his thorough testing we would not have known. dr. Grossman is very nice and knowledgeable, he isn't the warmest and fuzzies but I come… here for excellent care not teddy bear hugs. I highly recommend him.

My Daughter been going to him for couple of years now. She loves him. I love him. My daughter suffers from strokes. Since we been seeing him she hasn't had a stroke in 3 yrs going on 4 years. He tells you how it is. No dancing around the bushes with him. Sometimes parents need to hear it straight up. Never gave my daughter Meds till all tests where done and in. Runs test every couple of months. Do blood work often to check levels. My daughter been to many Nero. I think he's one of the best we been too. Her first Nero retired. Dr Madeline Olson. Been to others. I find him the best with brain injuries , Autism ,seizure disorders. I feel he kept my daughter stable & doing better then other Dr's ever thought. I really happy with him. Nothing bad to say.

Dr. Grossman has made a scary time in our life much easier. He is attentive, caring, and contrary to other reviews, easy to talk to and gentle. He genuinely cares about my son and takes the time needed to answer any questions. He knows what he is talking about and we trust him impeccably with our son!!

Seek another doctor! Rami Grossman is very rude and ignorant! He actually said hemoglobin has nothing to do with oxygen. He doesn't even let you speak and talks over you. He's quick to prescribe mediations and order MRI without fully understanding the child's condition. He is inhumane and quick to bill your insurance like it's an ATM. He is a junk doctor. I only hope other parents do not follow this man and find a true doctor.

Dr Rami Grossman is not a doctor by definition. He is legal pharmaceutical drug dealer. He is obnoxious and very rude! He dismissed all of our concerns and made insulting mockery comments. He doesn't understand basic nutrition or connection of brain & leaky gut. He is truly out of touch! He needs to get his head exam via MRI.

You may wait a while and not understand his bedside manner but this man is a genius and he is extremely good at job

Wow, what an arrogant, presumptive, egotistical man. He walked in and said after seeing that we had been referred by my son's school, 'oh so let me guess, your son cant' sit still, is inpatient etc'... He literally never asked us a question or our opinion, he just put words in our mouth, was rushed and didn't get us a chance to speak, and threatened to put my 5 year old daughter in the corner if she didn't stop swinging her legs (and she wasn't even the patient!). He made my child cry, made me feel degraded and frustrated and completely unheard, and to top it off, asked for 5 seperate follow up appts before he could diagnose my son, but somehow was ok to send a letter to my son's pediatrician the next day diagnosing him with ADHD and stating on the report repeated false information. He failed to mention my son's many medication allergies (and wrote 'none' under allergies), and said 'the parents reported' several times on stuff we had never told him! I think he has a standard letter he… sends out about all kids regardless of testing and he literally didn't give us a chance to speak. Obnoxious, unprofessional man, who I honestly think is just in it for the money. KEEP AWAY!

I thought Dr. Grossman had a rough bedside manner, which I can accept, if I can get the answers I need. However, my concern was that I found him quite dismissive. I had to literally BEG for an explanation of my son's diagnosis and it took months to get what I did - just a proclamation and a prescription -with no discussion of how the diagnosis was derived, treatment goals, possible outcomes of the medication, possible side effects, duration, alternatives or supportive therapy. The testing seemed thorough, but useless without all of the above. Very disappointed.
