Dr. Ramitkumar Hasmukhbhai Panara, MD

Recently it is impossible to get an appointment with Dr. Panera. After a series of mini strokes Dr at hospital told me to see Dr. Panara. Called office and was told Dr. only sees new patients and Botox patients but I could see the PA. PA is only interested in pushing pills so I said no thanks and am looking for a new neurologist

I was recently diagnosed with MS... in the hospital I was told the quicker we treat, the better the prognosis. It's good to get ahead of this disease and do everything we can to maintain a great quality of life. I got all my blood work done and his office was to get everything with the infusion drug (Tysabri) approved and scheduled. Literally 2 weeks later I was approved for Tysabri but the infusion nurse and the doctor were not on the same page. The infusion nurse said she couldn't do the infusion due to antibiotic treatment I was receiving for something unrelated. Dr. Panara said no it's ok..... This nonsense went back and forth for a month with 2 cancelled infusion treatments.... meanwhile I'm in a bad flare up with no relief and no solutions being offered. Dr. Panara's MA "medical assistant" (she is not an RN) her name is Czerena (spelling??) Is extremely RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! She has a sarcastic tone and bad attitude. Stress is a major trigger for my MS and this woman would… call to make smart remarks then once I would try and correct her she would say she's busy and hang up on me. I also contacted the office manager to find out what her issue was with me and when am I going to start treatment..... the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing in that office!! It's frustrating getting a diagnoses and trying to get treatment and overcome but the doctor's office truly doesn't care. It seems the only concern they have is $$$$. The office manager stated she would call me back with a course of action.... that was 5 weeks ago. Thank God I decided to get a 2nd opinion! My new Dr treats only MS and is in the top 5% in the state of FL. If you care about your health or loved ones health you have to advocate for yourself or them.... Dr. Panara and his staff will not

I have been a patient of Dr. Panara for about 2 years. I was very impressed w him at my first appt., he spent quite a while talking w me and evaluating my condition, as he has at all my following appt. Dr. Panara has helped me manage my Parkinson's Disease with his knowledge and great care. I always enjoy going to my appt. to see him. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Panara.

Dr Panara is very kind & responsive to my father's needs.
