Dr. Ramses Ribot, MD

My wife and I were in a terrible motorcycle accident in 2016 and my wife required intensive brain surgery. Although the neurosurgeon saved her life, she had severe brain damage leaving my wife with impaired vision, limited memory, and reduced cognition. We just moved from SC to FL and we wanted a neurologist that would take my wife’s case and explain to us what was damaged, what was removed, and what should concern us for the future. Our new PCP understood our concerns and referred us to Dr. Ramses Ribot. Dr. Ribot and his resident, Dr. Mathew Feldman, were professional, friendly, and efficient. We never felt rushed and they both took time to explain their answers in a way that was easy to understand. We found the office staff, especially Debra Crumbley and Andy Alvarez, kind, gentle, and very helpful with check-in and making new appointments for MRIs and the next visit. All in all, we felt well cared for and we were satisfied with the speed and efficiency of the visit.… The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and Dr. Ribot answered all our questions cheerfully and thoroughly. We would like to repeat that Drs. Ribot and Feldman were cheerful and exuded an air of confidence and competence. The thing that made me, the concerned husband, most happy about this visit is the confidence it gives me that my wife will receive excellent care here at the neurology department of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
